I'm not convinced this is for real. However, on the off-chance:

Why are you still communicating with him about this?
And your son is only going to be reacting so strongly because of your over-reaction. He's picking up on you. When you stop going into a tailspin, so will he.
Stop talking to and texting the ex and if he has reported to the police, let them get on and do their job.
And next time don't let some random bloke you've only been with for 5 weeks use your address or have his dodgy family staying with you.

i promise you it is real, im in a real state about it!!! i have blocked him on whatsapp and phone, because all hes doing is scaring me now.

i am so scared because i cant prove it was him, but he can prove it was me, after all its my address!!! how could i be so naive!!!!

He can't prove anything just from an address he's winding you up.

And even if you had done it, you would not be going to prison over a few parcels worth about £300. Seriously, not going to happen.

No he can't.

You didn't do it, he can't prove it was you.

Besides, it'd be up to the CPS to prove it beyond reasonable doubt if it got that far, and it's unlikely they could.

As the others have said, there is no reason for the police to believe anything against you. There is no reason at all to worry about that.

I work 2 jobs to make ends meet. He's at school during the day, and in the evenings he usually comes with me. I work in my friends pub so we stay over there if it's going to be late (after say 9pm).

ex's brother was staying there as he sold me a sob story and promised to pay towards the bills (which he didnt)
