Morning
Nothing to add to my monthly total yet, but I am keeping up with my two articles a day. I estimate I'll get around £50 from Textbroker this week, but I've still got today and tomorrow to hopefully add to that.
I got a call yesterday inviting me to take part in a focus group, starting on Monday, for the next 10 days. I vaguely remember applying for it as part of a survey. I don't remember how much it was exactly, but I'm thinking £90 for some reason, which would be great. He's going to email me more information, which I'll hopefully get today. Would be a nice boost for my May earnings.

You're doing well, Emz, especially with the Textbroker articles.
I
love focus groups although the last one I did was a bit of a nightmare! It was an online 'live' group discussing parcel delivery services. I'm quite a fast typer but our broadband is dire, must be the slowest in the country, and I had problems keeping up with the discussion. They were already on the next topic before my response was even 'sent'. I still got thanked and paid though so shouldn't grumble.2 -

Slow day today. Haven't been able to get any articles to write, but am still trying. I've claimed another £5 Amazon voucher from Swagbucks and I'm close to getting another Prolific payment, just waiting for some surveys to get paid. I think I'm going to get around £55 from Textbroker, but I've got a couple more pending, so will wait until the last minute to claim payment in case they accept them in time. Fridays (payday for Prolific) are fast becoming my favourite day of the week as I get to make a payment off the Curry's debt.
Haven't heard anything about that online focus group either. Losing hope on that one now.

Textbroker is still really slow. No articles at all to grab. Not good at all - going to have to hit the surveys hard. I did get a good Prolific survey this morning though. It was worth £7.50, and there will be 2 more surveys a few weeks apart, so the whole lot will be worth £25 when I've finished. Still haven't heard about the focus group either, unless they email on Monday, but I'm not holding my breath.
Waiting for my Textbroker payment to come through so I can pay it off and update my monthly total.

Still not received anything from Textbroker. Hoping it'll show up in my account on Monday - itching to pay it off the Curry's debt. I did write an article last night though, but nothing since.
I'm having a very subdued birthday today. OH got me a bunch of flowers and my sister and the kids came by, dropped my presents at the door and then watched me open them from a distance. Got some new clothes I wanted. Had a £30 cheque from my mum, which I've asked my sister to post to the bank for me, and some cards through the post. We're going to have a pizza tonight, but not much else I can do when I'm stuck inside. Never mind - there's always next year (the big 4-0).

Wishing you a very Happy Birthday. Sounds like your loved ones are making it the best they can manage in the circumstances. Here's to the next one, although entering the next decade isn't usually one to celebrate too much is it?.
The Prolific study sounds brilliant. I wish I could find good payers like that one. Here's hoping Textbroker picks up soon and the focus group happens for you. I've applied for a telephone focus group next week after receiving an emailed invitation. I'm not sure I fit their criteria though after completing the screening questions. Will last 45 minutes for £40 but I hate answering questions on the phone so it sounds as if I'll certainly have earned the money if they do choose me! It's any day/time next week. I've said I'd be available 24/7 (nothing better to do theses strange days is there?).2 -

I hope you get picked for the focus group. Got to grab the chances whilst we can. A phone one has got to be better than a video focus group!! I applied for another one during the week. Think it was around £30 payment, but it did sound really interesting.
