That sounds really good. I'll add it to my wishlist I think
Have a lovely weekend."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1 -
Feels like I've had the bank holiday weekend off. Haven't really done much in terms of making money, but there hasn't been that much around to be honest. My Swagbucks target has gone out the window this month as there was absolutely nothing on there yesterday in terms of surveys etc. I'll try again next month. Hoping things will pick up during the week.
OH and I were talking today and we are thinking of moving house next year. Our tenancy runs out in July each year, and we are going to stay here for another year and then see about moving on. One of the big reasons I want to move is that I would love a garden. Being stuck indoors at the moment really makes me want one more and more. We do live in a lovely flat, but it would be nice to have a garden and a driveway.
The main thing we need to do over the next year, if this is going to happen, is bring our outgoings down. All of our bills are up to date with no arrears, so that's not a problem, but we need to clear some debts to get our monthly payments down. Credit cards mainly, and little things like our Currys account. Also, once this lockdown is over, I'm going to look into getting Virgin Media, as it's a lot cheaper than the Sky and BT broadband we're paying for now. Just stuff like that. I realise that a house with a garden, garage, driveway etc etc will be more expensive, so we've got to make room for it. We can afford it, we just need to cut out all the rubbish we spend money on (meals out, takeaways, impulse buys etc).
So I've had my little 4 day break and will get cracking tomorrow. Back to the writing and surveys to get anything I can to pay off debts. Will continue with the Curry's account, and NOT get anything else on there (still don't regret my Ninja Foodi though!!), then make a start on my credit card. If we need to buy anything, try to wait until I have enough vouchers to pay for it. I've got to get my niece a couple of bits for her birthday (less than £20), so will try to get vouchers to cover that first. Any way to avoid money coming out of our account.
I'm trying to cook properly more. I'm hoping that even after lockdown, this will help us to avoid restaurants and takeaways too much. I'm getting good at making my own mash with the potatoes in my care package (used frozen mash up until now) and can make chips in my Ninja grill too. If we are getting online shops, we are trying to make them for the minimum amount and only for stuff we don't get in the care package (such as cheese and meat).
Sorry for the long post. Just quite excited at the prospect of moving and want to do as much as I can to get ready for it next year. Need to shave those outgoings. I always feel more motivated when I've got something to aim for.

Sounds like a great plan, and will be a great target to work towards"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1

April Earnings:
£12 - Panelbase
£5.01 - Prolific
£87.12 - Textbroker
£15.00 - Amazon Voucher from Swagbucks
£3.00 - Pinecone
£122.13
Way behind my target now. I'll have a bit more to add from Textbroker later, but not much. I feel the Easter weekend didn't do me any favours and I don't feel like I've gotten back into the swing of things since. Need to up my game with just 14 days of the month left. Don't think I'll hit my target now as that only includes one more Textbroker payment. Will hopefully get to £200, but definitely not £300, unless a miracle happens before then!!
I'm just trying to get an article to write this morning, but there's not much around. Managed to get two yesterday though. Need to get the surveys back underway too, although to get an article, I'm just having to sit there refreshing the page constantly as they go really quickly.
I'll keep plodding on though. Every little helps as they say.

Bit more to add. Made a £12 payment off my Ninja grill. Just over £100 left on there to pay. Hope I can do it from the next two Textbroker payments, so it'll be gone on the 1st May. That's the plan anyway. Found a way to monitor the TB website without being on it and getting an alert when it changes. Means I can get other stuff done and not miss any new articles. Managed to get one, which I'll get written straight away, and then will look for another one for this afternoon/evening.

Morning
Feeling back on track today. My little tool for monitoring Textbroker is working well and I got my two articles done yesterday. I've already written one this morning and am currently waiting to pick another one up. Will get on with some surveys whilst I wait.
I claimed a £10 cash payment from a survey site yesterday, so hopefully that will come through before the end of the month, and will work on getting some more Amazon vouchers too. Hoping I can take a break tonight and get started on that cross stitch bookmark for my niece. I don't think I'll be able to get it to her for her birthday, but I do want to give it to her when I can see her again, so want to get it ready for that. I have managed to read one of the 4 books I've got, so will make a start on the next one today.

Managing to keep up with my 2 articles a day. I got quite a big article yesterday, which I had to do over 2 days, but I have done an additional 2 articles today, so I still did 4 over yesterday and today.
Just claimed a bit more from Prolific - had 3 surveys on there today, which is the first I've had for ages!!
