Not that much to report unfortunately. Really feel that I should have done better this month. We've still got 18 days left though, so I'm going to try and up my game a bit!!
I've started to contact some companies myself about PPI. I've already heard back from Capital One saying that I did have PPI, so I've put in a complaint to them. There are a couple of companies that I'll have to write to, so I'm going to aim to get those letters sent off by the end of the week.
Might start doing daily lists from tomorrow to try and spur myself on a bit. Just seem to be wasting time a lot recently doing silly things.
March Earnings:
£10 Amazon voucher (received from Swagbucks)
£2 Love 2 Shop vouchers (received from Post Office)
£2.50 Clubcard voucher (received from Tesco)
£3 PayPal (received from Pinecone)
£10 Cash (received from Facebook sale)
£20.99 Cash (received from Prolific)
£48.49

Check me out - not even lunchtime yet and over half my list done already
I've got a Textbroker article to write, so it's just a case of getting on with it. I'm going to have some lunch and then change the bedding so that all the 'housework' is done. Then I'll sit myself down and do the other tasks this afternoon.

I had my ppi claim refused by Cap 1, but I got a plevin payment from them, so good luck with that one!

Eek - 2 weeks since I last posted
Everything is fine health-wise. I'm trying to do a bit of walking to build up my lungs a bit. We walked to the supermarket last night instead of driving (it's about a 30-40 minute round trip). It was tough going and I had to stop a few times, but I did it. My legs were aching, which is a sign I need to build those muscles up a bit more, and I went through nearly a whole oxygen canister. I'll try and do this at least twice a week to begin with and see if it gets any easier. The better I do before the transplant in terms of exercise and building my muscles up, the quicker my recovery will be and the longer my new lungs will be healthy for.
Next month will be the first month that I won't get paid anything from work, not even SSP. I'll only be bringing in my £350 PIP money every 4 weeks, so I would really like to contribute more. I think we're going to stick with the cleaner, even though it costs £28 a week. It's lovely having a clean house and it's better for me health-wise. I spend an hour or so in the mornings tidying up and other bits like ironing, washing, emptying the dishwasher etc, so my OH basically doesn't have to do anything anymore except go to work, which is good as he is out of the house for at least 12 hours a day, and it makes me feel better that I am doing something useful around the house.
That being said, I really want to bring in at least £300 extra over the course of April. I've just got to stick to it and not lose focus. I definitely know I can do it!! I'm going to attack my moneymaking from a few angles:
1. Surveys - particularly Prolific. The £300 doesn't have to be all cash, vouchers are just as handy (for example, I've got £20 worth of M&S vouchers saved for OH's and mine mother's day flowers)
2. Textbroker - Even just 1 article a day should bring in around £120 for the month.
3. Mystery Shopping - I wasn't going to attempt this whilst wearing oxygen, but I can still go out and shop, so I don't see why I can't really. I'm still a regular shopper. I've got a few jobs lined up already and have applied for some more. I think I'm a bit out of favour with the companies though as I haven't done any for ages.
4. Freebies and money off coupons - I won't count these sorts of things towards the £300, but they will help out by saving money.

Been a good week
I had the hospital today and it went well. Was there for over 4 hours, but my lung function has gone up to 28% (might be to do with me starting to do some walking and a bit of exercise - need to push on with this to try and get it in the 30s) and my weight is up to 60.7kg (which they are very pleased with). Having IVs at the beginning of June.
I haven't been that good with the money making - but that doesn't matter too much at the moment as I've got a bit of breathing space financially due to getting some PPI back - £2,568.46 to be precise!! That is from an Egg card that I had. I got the letter yesterday and the cheque will follow shortly afterwards. It's a bit of a relief and I'm glad that I don't have to push myself into making money for a bit, I can just relax and take care of my health. I'll still do the odd bit here and there to stop myself getting bored, but I don't NEED to do it anymore which is the good bit.
