  • You need to look at your statements to see if it was applied, do it online, not a bill, your statements

    Bill/statement, same thing.

Absolutely not, a bill is what is owed, a statement is a list of what is owed and has been paid and the balance owing.

With my energy supplier when i log into my online account it states bill.... manage DD etc. Click on the bill and it shows it as the statement, therefore bill/statement is the same thing. It tells you what you've used, how much you've paid and what you owe or they owe you. On this, it shows the WHD added in Feb 2018, thanks.

Yes clearly they are showing it that way Poppy.
However as I am sure you know in the true definition there is a difference.
Glad you could see yours applied.
Hoping mine will go on soon :-)

That was of course for last years WHD. This years has yet to be added, i've only recently applied.
  • I used to work for an energy company and we usually just added it to the account. There's a very definite but not widely publicised cutoff date sadly...

Yes, i received a letter confirming i qualified months after i applied. It said the £140 would be added to my electric bill but it didn't say which bill lol. It can be anytime from December to about March.
Are you 100% sure you qualify?

1000% know I qualify! Swalec and my support worker told me I do. I also have reduced water bill as my income is so low. The issue isn't whether I qualify. I'm with StepChange, and my debts' interest frozen. I qualified for this BEFORE they reduced my money even further by removing my PIP and severe disability premium.
Look at it this way... In a hundred years who's gonna care?

If you've checked your statements and didn't receive it then ring Swalec because it's the only way you'll know the answer.
