I found it on a website from google! You are probably right, that I'm wrong as i thought it was odd too but cant seem to find any info on it. Maybe i need to do some more digging!

Just an update, I'm awaiting to hear back from both Brittania and BW Legal. Well some how BW Legal have somehow managed to get my mobile number and left a ln automated voicemail! So confused as to how they have this!l asbi haven't given it to them! Safe to say I have blocked them!

Dear Guest Services Team,

Are you saying your company did not contract with Britannia and they are not your agent? If so, who did please (landowner or property agent)? Clearly to get this scam cancelled I need to know who was talked into letting any parking firm infest that site.

No wonder patrons stayed away from that location and that may have been a factor in why you had to close that restaurant. People do not return when scammed by parking firms at retail parks. Restaurants and retailers need to understand this - parking companies offer nothing at all of use to any drivers, and they ruin retail parks behind the scenes without you even being aware of the effect on your customers, unless people like me complain to you about it.

If you did in fact take on Britannia, please explain why you think your contractor can tell you what to do, when my research tells me that most private parking contracts, exemption & cancellation clauses certainly allow the principal (you?) to cancel PCNs for genuine patrons.

Are you honestly saying to a customer, that you will not even offer to send BritPark (Britannia) an email - or make one phone call - asking them to cancel, and you would rather I was sued by a member of this notorious industry, which was condemned again in Parliament only last week?

I look forward to hearing a more positive reply, or at least a contact name/email of the Managing Agents or owners if I need to escalate my complaint to them instead.

Today i have had a text from BW Legal stating they are trying to contact me, something along the lines of 'personal business'. Now blocked.

Also i had a reply back from the retail chain:

Thank you for your response.



We can confirm that Britannia Parking is contracted by the land lord of Chelmsford Army Navy. Unfortunately, we are unable to assist in the revocation of fines incurred at this now closed location and we cannot disclose the contact information of centre management.

So a whole load of rubbish. The two retail chains there are now closed. I'm not sure whether to approach the Travel lodge and complain in the same way in the hope they may contact Brittania. Although I'm guessing they would ask for some sort of information or details if i had stayed there or not? Maybe i'll try my luck!

Mine was same car park a few years back and at the time the Evans cycles weren't interested. Maybe I should write to their head office! Also, we should both complain to the MP!
