I suspect they will throw more into the mix like landowner contract etc too (and BEAVIS), plus massive war and peace tomes to bamboozle you

the court should not be telling you anything about PE or their claim , hence why they wont tell you certain things , it would be a data breach
there is a lot you might like to know, but are not yet entitled to know

you should be concentrating on what the court has told you to do, not what the other side has to do, until the deadline dates

Ok, the bamboozler pack has arrived today stating that LPC law will represent them. It contains land owner contract copy, the plans of signage posted earlier but also contains good quality photos of all the signboards and the then a huge list of things including a list of number plates who extended the 4 hours. The only thing worth noting is that all of the signboards face (are angled) towards the entrance of the one way. There aren't any signboards facing the exit way which my wife drove in through and there are a couple of spaces from where none of the signboards facing the entry will be visible. I will need to argue the case that the earlier yellow and white signboards indicating staff parking zone and no 'no entry' signs made in unnecessary for her to go further and look out for further signboards.

Can my wife refer to their exhibits and counter any of those in her WS?

Also can the PE copy of our bundle be sent by email? Is there a specific one to send witness statements or is it just the standard Enforcement@parkingeye.co.uk?

Why not? As long as she isn't perjuring herself.

Always standard advice, email to the claimant, physical pagination and neatly presented ring binder, delivered by hand to the court of your hearing.

Has this just been removed from the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, post #2, as it's very important guidance? Let us know and I'll arrange for it to be reinstated urgently.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Yes email your stuff to the enforcement@ email.

I would CERTAINLY hand deliver your file/folder of WS x 2 and evidence photos, case law etc., with a contents page and a draft Costs Schedule too.

The thing is, I doubt the court staff usually get such a comprehensive WS file! No way will email to the court, do it justice (pun intended)!

Will try to do it carefully without compromising the argument.

I don't think it is within the body of the page but I have read this within some thread. KeithP adviced me to hand deliver it as well. The Cardiff Court has however said on the phone today that they prefer for it to be sent by email. Should I just disregard and deliver by hand anyway.

Happy to send to PE by email - do you know what mail id to use for witness statements?

    Thank you - cross posted.

    Ok will hand deliver.

2 ring bound copies of everything? I only have my WS referring to wife's and her's refers to all the photos with a single page indexing the exhibit list. Does the cost schedule need to go straight away or can that go later before the hearing?

In the cost schedule, should I put half day worth of time for each me and my wife as both will be attending or am I pushing it?

Yes why not, if you both work and she is a witness.

Trouble is, this is Cardiff court so you will have an uphill struggle re a parking case there, but if you do win, you can then hand over your costs schedule and be ready to point out that you can claim 'loss of leave' or loss of salary (not just the latter) as per the CPRs.

At least you are forewarned that this is a hard court to crack re PPCs, with a previous bias demonstrated re that very same UHW location when Indigo were infesting it.

Thank you. I know it won't be easy but I will give it a fight. I can't believe the Health Board chose to give the contract to Parking Eye.
