Non molestation order

Hi any help. If you get granted a non molestation order against someone that also works with you. Order states the person should not come within 100meters of you or you home.

What do you do if you both work for same company but would only see each other for 5 mins in passing.
Does your employer have a duty of care to you... perhaps make the person come in 10 mins later so use don't bump into each other. Any help much appreciated

Does your employer have a duty of care towards you if you work together. It's not like we work in an office we would only bump into each other for 5mims at beginning of the day.

Should your employer make them come in ten minutes late. Any help much appreciated

Anything wrong with you coming in early?

I doubt that there is any duty of care as far as the employer is concerned. The order sounds as though it wasn't thought out properly.

The problem is that if the person is in before you then it is you that is the cause of the breach by coming within 100 yards of them.

I think whilst you can notify your employer (though be prepared for more questions and potentially putting their job at risk) they aren't legally obliged to make that person do anything or adapt to accommodate them.

Any sensible person with an order against them would take necessary steps. However by sheer definition thats an unlikely outcome else you wouldnt need the order in the 1st place.

You would be best place altering your times to prevent contact to guarantee you don't come into contact. This would reassure you.

Did you not get any guidance from the courts? Assume that person didnt appeal the order and throw in that you work at the same place.

I had to google a non-molestation order to see what it is.
When the order was granted was there no mention of the fact both parties work together?
I think the onus would be on the person against whom the order was granted to ensure they are not breaching the conditions of it, but I'm not sure how that would work in practice in a workplace.
If it is literally 5 minutes at the beginning of the day I'm sure an employer would make minor changes but what about changes of shifts, holidays, training etc?
