So you took out the policy in September.
When did you get the points?

This is important. Did you fail to volunteer info? They ask if you have points to declare or if you are aware of any upcoming proceedings.

    I think this is key.

Maybe luck had nothing to do with it.

    And -
    (a) What do you drive that a 0-60 time of 4.4 seconds doesnt impress you?
    (b) 0-60 times arent the be all and end all of car ownership
    (c) Whats the relevance to the thread as to whether or not the O/P's choice of car's 0-60 time impresses you or not?
    (d) Do you think the O/P cares?
Maybe e) its an open forum and you should realise people state their opinions. don't like it? close your precious eyes.

It looks faster than it is, BRZ syndrome. Also bad reviews mostly from what i can see. major yawn, 4.4 isnt special in any way these days.

It's far quicker than is usable in any but the most anti-social of ways on public roads.

0-60 willy-waving is for Top Trumps-playing children and for drag racing yanks.

id say top speed is your top trumps stat, irrelevant unless in germany.

0-60 you do a lot, and the faster your car is at it, the less throttle you need to achieve decent acceleration and the more effortless it feels. (or you can also unleash the fury)

Oh and that alfa is supposed to be a sport track type car where you would definitely want acceleration.

I strongly suspect that anybody with a commercial pilot's licence who used the phrase "unleash the fury" to describe opening the throttles on a small turboprop commuter plane would have been doing so sarcastically.

4.4 isn't a slow motor, not much better to be had out there.

I think this is the most plausible explanation. And if it is the case, then Admiral are within their rights to do as they have done.

Otherwise not, but how are we (or indeed Admiral) supposed to know without all the facts?
