Wouldn't it be good if we had a board on MSE Forums dedicated to Mobile Telephones?
It could be called: The Mobiles Board0 -
Great reminder to use credit card.
What case would you recommend?
Well, it depends on how clumsy you really are.;) If you are really bad, then go for an Otterbox.
I used a slim leather case I bought from ebay on my S8+ and after 18 months or so it's still pristine.
I only changed it as my Wife needed a new phone, so, because I'm so kind, I gave my S8+ to her and bought myself the note 9..;)
If you don't want to use ebay, have a look at mobilefun, I've never had any problems with them.

you should also consider a well looked after S7. much cheaper (around £150 with 12 month warranty), and will still seem like a massive upgrade from your S4.
it's also a great phone. i got my S7 last year after having an S5 and the difference really is chalk and cheese. i use it a lot for watching sports and iplayer programs whilst travelling. the screen is fantastic for this.

You seem to be missing the point of MSE - its about saving money on the things you want, not about not getting the things you want and making do with something cheaper.0 -

Not missing the point at all. I was pointing out you can get a I stated a very good dual SIM and SD card phone for £200 or less.0 -

So getting something he doesnt want for less?
And i've no issue with you pointing it out, however you did so intimating it was an MSE ethos.Inner_Zone wrote: »As this is MSE, do you need...0 -

Still wrong, I was pointing out to the OP, whose user name suggests a female, that there are other options. Ultimately it's up to the OP what she purchases, I was not telling her what to purchase. And i've no issue with you pointing it out, however you did so intimating it was an MSE ethos.
Have you missed that this is a money saving website, it appears so.
So when there are money savings to be made, you are saying they cannot be suggested?
Whether the OP goes with them or goes for their original choice it is still their choice.0
