Afternoon ((((((((((hugs)))))))))) if you need one.
We have only just got up, awake drinking tea at 1am neither of us could sleep consequently it was rather late when we woke up.
Yesterdays fair was a total waste of time. I sold one item which covered the cost of the stall and gave me £2 profit. We were both exhausted when we got home.
I have the school farmers market on Friday depending on what I do or do not sell there I will be putting the contents of my sales box on line to sell.
Roast lamb for supper, have prepped the veg and the lamb is on auto.We will eat about 4pm.0 -

Good Luck with your wardrobe sorting Nelski. I'm a terrible ditherer about this kind of thing, take something out, well, that can go, though no, I might wear it, so it goes back. What you might call the Hokey Cokey method of sorting - in, out, in, out!
Take care folks.
Nelski & Scarlet Ribbons, re wardrobe sorting could you get a friend or family member to assist?
Years ago I was lucky enough to win a competition & part of the prize was that a couple of ladies came in to sort my wardrobe & clothing drawers. They used the Marie Kondo method :rotfl: Every item of clothing I owned stacked on bed & then held up for a decision. Surprising how easy it was to make decisions - I wanted to please :rotfl: Once the decisions had been made & all the bags for cs or ragging had been filled, I was sent away while they put everything away on new fancy hangers & specially folded & put in order. Earlier this year, I had another sort out & managed to get a few more items out but I know I can get rid of more - I just need to imagine the ladies back :rotfl:

Coughing up lumps and sneezing lots, the infection has well and truly set in, temp os OK though so no panicking yet. Managed to sort out the top of the table next to where I sit on the sofa, lots of stuff binned, sorted, recycled or collated. I put all pills and potions in one bag, so now there's a carrier bag full of stuff I most likely won't use so I'll need to give them back somehow. Also finished injecting yesterday so all sharps bins can go now.
The lady did phone back about the LGFB day, but it's on Tuesday. Not sure I should go with this infecton/virus but I'll wait till Tuesday morning to decide. Don't want to be infectious to anyone else with a compromised immune system...
Today is do nothing, possibly make toad in the hole later on.
Good to hear you Poppy
Hope everyone is having a good dayNon me fac calcitrare tuum culi0 -
Good to hear from you Poppy, I've been wondering about you.
Also Candygirl, good to see your post.
_Taff. things don't sound too good for you, hope you'll pick up a bit.
Mrs Sd, what a great prize to win, having your wardrobe sorted - did you have any regrets later, after the ladies had gone? My Dd is worse than me with this kind of thing, but myDil is very good, I sometimes ask her to help.
Csarina, sorry to hear you had a wasted day yesterday, how annoying
Nanny, it's not like you to have bad nights. Strangely, I slept really well last night, and that's not like me. i wonder if I had your night and you had mine?
HH, whinge away, get it off your chest!!0 -
taff, when dad died we had a boxful of medicines, including morphine, which wasn't needed because he had no pain. We expected the ptb to rush round to collect it but no-one seemed the least bothered. We took it to a chemist in the end. Hope you feel better soon.
Poppy, good to hear from you, you were missed.
candygirl, nice to hear from you - I lurk on the strictly thread and see you there.0 -
Snoozer, meant to say, Glad that Steve got something positive from the conference
Hope Laura will be all right, you'll be concerned for her.
I'm not motivated for Christmas either, apart from buying a few cards and some "little" presents I've done nowt - usually I have a cake and puddings made by now. I've got the stuff for them, just haven't done them
Hey ho. it'll all get done eventually0 -
ScarlettRibbons, good luck tomorrow0

Scarlet Ribbons, not one single regret :rotfl: - at the time I didn’t even open up the bags before moving them on
