BW Legal phone call demanding payment

Had a phone call this week from BW Legal about a VCS parking ticket.
This phone call was out of the blue as my last letter to them was almost 2 years ago. Also I had previously informed them that they should not phone me and all contact should be by letter.
I wrote to them and told them the error of their ways.
Has anyone else had a phone call from these guys about old PCN's?
Thanks
Arthur

If BWLegal ignore you, complain to the SRA (Solicitors Regulation Authority)

Tell them to FO then block the number.0

Complain again to the SRA and make certain you block them on your phone. It's harassment
We must assume that the SRA approves of harassment0 -
Report them online, to the Information Commissioner, using the data concerns form, and showing evidence that you told them not to phone you, but they ignored it, twice.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I would say this is the page
You can report nuisance calls and spam texts to the ICO here
https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/nuisance-calls-and-messages/spam-texts-and-nuisance-calls/
These calls from BWLegal are nuisance calls after you told them to cease0 -
What when you Google ICO report a data concern, you didn't find the right page? Try again.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Complain to your MP
This is an entirely unregulated industry which is scamming the public with inflated claims for minor breaches of alleged contracts for alleged parking offences, aided and abetted by a handful of low-rent solicitors.
Parking Eye, CPM, Smart, and others have already been named and shamed in the House of Commons as have Gladstones Solicitors, and BW Legal, (these two law firms take hundreds of these cases to court each week, hospital car parks and residential complex tickets have been especially mentioned. They lose most of them, and have been reported to the regulatory authority by an M.P. for unprofessional conduct
The problem has become so widespread that MPs have agreed to enact a Bill to regulate these scammers. It has even been suggested that some of these companies have links with organised crime.
Watch the video of the Second Reading and committee stage in the House of Commons recently. MPs have a very low opinion of this industry.

and complain in the most robust terms to your MP. With a fair wind they will be out of business in the not too distant future.
