Can you recommend any good PDF creating freeware/shareware ?
Thanks.

If you are using Office 2007, they have a free add on.0

Well, MacOSX creates PDFs and I guess it's free, since OSX comes with every Apple Mac.
If you are stuck with Windows there are plenty of PDF creators but, unlike OSX, they may work only with certain applications.
Some are listed at the bottom of this page:

Only tried to use a Mac once and really struggled, perhaps I have used windows for too many years.
NB: Not meant to be a provocative statement but macs always seem to be expensive 'style over substance' to me. Iffy products when you get down to it i.e. Ipods but a massive marketing budget to entice trendies.0 -
I think Foxit Reader (freeware I think) has a free PDF Creator add-on (trial-limited)
And FR is far superior and far far quicker than Adobe Reader also. BLOODBATH IN THE EVENING THEN? OR PERHAPS THE AFTERNOON? OR THE MORNING? OH, FORGET THIS MALARKEY!

PrimoPDF is free, just google for it.
It installs itself as a printer, so you can create your document in Openoffice, Word (Or literally ANY program you can print from) hit "Print" choose PrimoPDF instead of your usual printer and hey presto
I don't believe and I never did that two wrongs make a right0 -

Good Point !
Earlier I was trying to save a file in Open Office as a .PDF and it was not one of the options available. I was sure I had done it before.
The key word is 'Export'.
Thank you.0 -
OK, now we've found some free pdf creator programmes, can anyone recommend a free programme for editing existing pdf files?
