    Good evening everyone
Hope you've had a gentle day LL
No champagne moments but thankful the weather has eased a bit and we avoided the worst of it.
Looking forward to my younger son arriving on Wednesday - will be the start of the festive season for me with the tree and decorations going up.:)

  • Champagne moment this morning......still in bed....:rotfl:I think I have finally slept myself better. A full 8 hours last night and then a leisurely cup of coffee in bed. Still a bit sinusy and headachey but hopefully a walk to the shops will help clear the cobwebs, it's a nice bright sunny day. Cold of course but I don't mind that.

One more nice easy day today before the Christmas madness begins in earnest.

Tomorrow we are going on our annual visit to Chatsworth, every year they decorate the house. This years theme is Fairy Tales. Should be fun. We splurge and have a nice posh lunch in the restaurant. It's not a cheap day out but we love it. My Venezuelan DIL and her sister who is over here at the moment are so excited. They have been watching Pride and Prejudice in preparation. Bless them.
  • I was due a lie in today after a busy weekend with GC and visitors staying Saturday night. Well that didn't work as one GC off school sick, parents both working so I got an early call to see if I could pick him up. He is lying quietly on the sofa.

Not sure what my champagne moment is going to be but I am determined to have one.

Last night I did some 'yoga with Adriene' on YouTube in the living room, by the light of the Christmas tree and some scented candles. Then a hot bubble bath with a digital library book on the iPad. Felt very luxurious and was all rosy and pink after. Practically free!
  • I just had a bath with a Lush bath bomb and a new cucumber face mask.:)

Madeleine Olivia on YouTube likes her yoga. I keep meaning to try it but I'm so inflexible.

I used to do gymnastics at school so I'm not sure why I can't do yoga.:rotfl:

What is wrong with your legs? If you don't mind me asking.:o

I used to have fibromyalgia until recently and I was thinking last year about buying an infrared sauna as it is meant to help. It was one of those silver £200 ones that you sit in and look like a real dork, but if it helped I would have bought one!:D

I was looking at those too. :D.

I only walked to the shop this morning. Literally a 10 minute walk and my legs were so painful.

Yoga. I used to able to wrap my legs round my neck. Not any more. Lol
