Hello Takanodia
You may be right. I am sure that most of us are worried as to where this is going. Which is why we visit and contribute to threads like this. We can use this space to celebrate the simple things that bring us joy. Or support, give words of encouragement, to those that need it. Many are becoming more self reliant because of what we are dealing with. The unknown.
I hope that you manage to find some joy in these troubling times.

this time around people are not as self reliant
is anybody else nothing the empty shelves increasingly in space again?takanodia said:In reality if the economy carries on in this direction at this speed with this many businesses going under and this many become unemployed every month, then there will be the greatest depression ever in less than 4 years.
The question is will the economy keep crashing at this speed or will the decline speed up?The central planners are trying every trick in the book but we are now past the point of no return, they can create as many numbers into their bank accounts as they can, creating fiat currency out of thin air and adding it to the rapidly expanding currency supply will only speed up the decline.
Don't want you all to think I am off my rocker. Again !AKA : Bala La Boo & Bala Baloo

Hello my lovely friends........
these are indeed uncertain and troubling times. I think the trick is ........in the words of our great leader, Martin Lewis (All Hail) 😂......we need to prepare for the worst and hope for the best.Yes keep the store cupboard full and teach yourself some practical skills If you don't already possess them but above all do your level best to stay both physically and mentally healthy. Stay happy, stay positive and never give in to despair. My Belgian mother lived under the German occupation, and was a member of the Belgian resistance. My father saw active service in WW2 and served his country for 9 years. Prior to that they both lived in the Great Depression. If they can survive that then I must follow their lead and find courage and fortitude.I too have seen lean times. Nursing my husband and watching him slowly die was no picnic. Without being blasé I know I have skills and coping mechanisms and that I am resilient.I am not an ostrich, I do watch the news but tbh I genuinely believe that it does no good to wallow in despair and drown in doom and gloom. My advice is avoid the continual rolling news bulletins. Most of it is just repeated ad nauseum, just filling air space.I think. .......Just watch enough so you know what's happening and then get on with living.Life is short enough, enjoy whilst you can. Bring it on.DIL has gone into labour, currently in the labour ward. Hoping for a natural delivery but obviously will have a Caesarian again if she gets into trouble.I'm on granny duty.........exhausted already. 😂19 -
Bala so glad that your 3 relatives are all recovering
LL great news that your DIL has gone into labour. I hope the labour and birth both go without too many stressful times
My Champagne moment was discovering that Poetic Unity has now returned with their Open Mic Poetry and Creative Writing events at Black Cultural Archives in Brixton. Some of the events had already sold out, but I was fortunate enough to get tickets for the last 3 events of this year. The price of the tickets has increased because only 16 people are now allowed in the sanitised and socially distanced space, but that was not going to stop me from buying tickets for these events. Once again I will be surrounded by other like minded people having a fun evening out.
I typed up one of my pieces of work so that it will be easy for me to print copies of it. I set off my Arthritis pain, so I took some painkillers and left the other piece of my creative writing to type up another day this week.9 -

to really prepare for the new greatest depression coming you need to prepare for a banking collapse and people throw their money in the streets due to hyperinflation2 -
