Can anyone tell me whether there will be another Christmas Evening Thing in store after the one this week? I seem to remember that there should be another one?

i have lost my free mini voucher, trust me and the acm woul dnt give me any today so used my £2 off on toni and guy shampoo and got a mini hair spray too to see if it would just knock off the price of one mini, but no luck. had adopey sa as well, he must have been new because he looke dso confused with my vouchers and just scanned them through not looking

I feel really sorry for you orlaith and I hope you don't have too much rubbish to deal with now things are getting manic at the shops. When people on here are annoyed because a SA is being snotty or going out of their way to accept a completely valid deal it annoys me because this type of staff puts a bad name on others. When you try and really be nice as an SA though and help out as much as you can people don't seem to get the idea that if you put this transaction through you will get in trouble and a bad reputation in your own workplace. Not only that but it totally puts you off track on your day when you have just had someone that just won't listen to what you are trying to say, which is made even harder when you don't like what you're trying to say yourself!

I hope you get some great employee perks and just think of the sale coming orlaith and all the goodies you can get to first

Most stores have another one on 28th/29th Nov...check the 1st page of the thread for the link to the list of all the xmas evenings across the country. HTH

I'm slowly reading all this useful information about getting the most from Boots. But having trouble with some abbreviations which experience people use, can someone help please?? Below are the ones I have so far noticed cropping up,

ACM-vouchers from the boots machine??
WYB-
WYS-
GWP-
AFAIK-

When does the vouchers on the Boots machine change?? and how do I get some haircare vouchers which sounds very handy.

AFAIK you can get WYB or WYS vouchers from the ACM and if you're lucky you might even get a GWP :rotfl:

ACM-Advantage Card Machine
WYB- When You Buy
WYS- When You Spend
GWP- Gift With Purchase
AFAIK- As far as I know;)

The ACM vouchers usually change every other Wednesday (can anyone confirm?). The haircare voucher is currently given out when you spend £5 in store. The haircare voucher can also be combined with an ACM voucher (see first post).
