Would buy in store and get the 1000 points at the shopping event that is being held, but the items I want are only available on line.
If you look on hotukdeals.com there are lots of codes for money of when you spend certain amount etc and dont forget to go through pigsback.

I have added a new 1000pts on £50 spend to the first post."I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. ( I spent just over £54)
This is why I never go to Boots Deepdale - have never got a bargain their yet and the SA guard their stock and inspect the vouchers as if you were trying to steal from them - makes me feel very uncomfortable so go to Blackpool or Preston Centre when I am "bootsing"0 -

Question regarding points?
I went to the boots xmas shopping evening last night and spent £56.63
I used £30 on my gift card from my birthday and 2 x £10 gift vouchers from Pigsback.
Points earned
Points received 60
Offer Points 1000
Kiosk Offer points 300
parenting points 2000
I thought it was 4 points for every £1 spent - so shouldnt the points received be 224 and not 60
Any help most appreciated
Thanks
vicky
You used to get them but now boots have changed the wording to "receive x amount of points" from "receive x amount of EXTRA points".
hope this makes sense :rotfl:I heart The Capital0 -
Hi,
I noticed a message a few pages back about the Derby store, it says the 'new Derby store' I just wanted to clarify that Boots were one of the shops that didn't move into a new store when the new centre opened.
I didn't want people to go especially expecting a huge new store and be disappointed that it's the same one as before!! They've given it a bit of a facelift and moved things around (ugh, I can't find anything anymore!!!) but that's about it!
I've mentioned this before but for anyone who missed it they do have some of the electricals such as iPod's so anyone looking for those it might be worth the trip!
As I said I would hate people to make a special trip and then get there and be disappointed so thought I'd mention it! Although I'm sure you could find plenty to do in the new centre anyway!

The p&p is half price. You could purchase that and get your free gift (purple bag with contents) should be on a stand close by and then buy something like a bar of chocolate or 16p paracetamol's to take you over £50 and you will get 1000 bonus points. It is also worth asking if they are giving out goodie bags. Some stores are and some are not so its hit or miss.
HTH
Also some stores are giving away 2 of the free gifts with the p&p so you could ask if you get 2 or 1. Or if you post here what store you are off to then maybe someone will let you now how many they are giving out."I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure.
