If you have a receipt then I suggest that you try to buy the third item in the half price sale and take them all back. If you don't have a receipt then they will only allow you the sale price anyway. I tried it last year when I was in the same position as you and they insisted that I return all 3 items.

Another option would be to return each item individually as they seem happier to exchange 1 item than 2.

just to let you know i went into store yesterday with my reciept which had 3 items on £8each on the buy 342 so total was £16.00 and returned 2 and they still gave me the £16.00 back so i got one free

I spend thousands of pounds at Boots and get nothing in terms of "extra" points vouchers in the advantage machine. All I get is Competitions.

I make most of my points from Boots.com rather than instore but I spend a fortune in store too.

I have had my card since Autumn 1997 - over 10 years.

However I have never tried to complain about this - if their systems don't give me any extra points then so be it. I still love Boots !!!

still loads and loads of gifts left at Manchester Arndale at 50% off - could be worth waiting for 75% cos it doesn't look like theyre running low on supplies!

Thats really bad!! I've had mine 10 years too and seem to get the best pick of vouchers. My mum gets nothing but has only had it for 1 year

There seemed to be very little left for sale in the main Canterbury branch, but went to Tunbridge Wells yesterday, and they have stacks of stuff - lots of No 7 gift sets, and all sorts of the perfume sets.

I may just have to make another trip on 15th...
