I also ordered on 10th Jan 2007 am sure that was 1st day of 75% sale. Just hope it is on a day i am not working!

I'll be working if its a week day that it starts. Last Jan I was in uni so I must have been off or late start that day. Will need to set the alarm very early on the day of the sale to get bargains before school this Jan.

The expert sensitive daily defence moisture cream is on offer at 2.99 when I was at boots ystd. I should think you can combine it with the voucher so that it becomes 1.99. Dont know if it work though as I havent tried it. I've got too many creams in the cupboards.

all these new vouchers are valid from 1.01.2008 till 29.01 so we will have to wait and see if this cream will be still on offer...

  • Had to laugh at the Prescot store today, sale shelves were absolutely empty apart from about 5 packs of cards and afew tiny gift sets! Spent my last few points on getting some of the cards so here's to a new year of collecting!!!
  • hi

i've managed to save enough points to get some curling tongs and am wondering whether if i buy them i will be able to return them if i don't like them (after i have used them) and have the points put back on my ac.
the reason i am asking is because i have heard mixed review about them and don't want to waste my points.

    thanks

Why not google the type of tongs you are thinking of buying to see if there are any online reviews for that make and model. That's what I did when I wanted straighteners for DD's Christmas box (and I asked on here for recommendations). Found that Amazon was really helpful for reviews but this obviously depends on whether or not they stock the item of your choice.

If you have a receipt then I suggest that you try to buy the third item in the half price sale and take them all back. If you don't have a receipt then they will only allow you the sale price anyway. I tried it last year when I was in the same position as you and they insisted that I return all 3 items.

Another option would be to return each item individually as they seem happier to exchange 1 item than 2.

    Good luck!!

Real men never follow instructions; after all they are just the manufacturer's opinion on how to put something together. :p
