Hi Bootsers :j :j :j
Gosh do you all know that I have not been inside boots since September?! I used to be addicted to this thread but as I have been training to become a teacher I don't seem to have a life outside of my schoool...and the sad bit is I haven't even missed it or needed to go into boots as I am still using all the sanctuary/botanics glitch goodies from months and months ago!
anyway now its my xmas holidays I thought I would pop in and say hi to everyone...welcome all the newbies and rock on to all the old school people!
oh and whoever says No chat I say get used to it.....as if everyone was not so friendly people might not post the bargains on here, and even though I dont use the bargains anymore they are fantastic. and its only fellow bootsers that can understand the bootsing addiction!
so hope everyone had a Very very merry christmas and has an awesome beautiful bargain filled new year :santa2: :xmassign: :snow_laugAll men hear is blah, blah, blah, blah, SEX, blah, blah, blah, FOOD, blah, blah, blah, BEER:wall:0 -
Not that I need to get a life or anything, but I've checked in my diary, and Boots sale went to 75% on Monday 15 January this year. From memory it's usually a Monday - does anyone have inside information that it's likely to be the Tuesday this time?
I was under the impression that those dates given earlier in the thread were just an estimate based on last years dates for further reductions.0 -
I sort of love Boots, after spending the past year and half building up my points (nearly £275 that's after a £100 spend of points earlier in the year) I am now down to just above £100
I've bought LOADS in the 50% sale and I was going to be good. I've justified it by treating myself to all the Ghost sets that I didn't get for Christmas and loads of toys for my son and my neice for next year.
The reason I only sort of love them is that I am so reluctant to spend what I have left. Is anyone else like that, hates to see their total points under a certain amount?
Here's to a brand new year full of points and glitches!! Have a good one guys0 -
hi
i've managed to save enough points to get some curling tongs and am wondering whether if i buy them i will be able to return them if i don't like them (after i have used them) and have the points put back on my ac.
the reason i am asking is because i have heard mixed review about them and don't want to waste my points.
thanksLead me not into temptation, I can find the way myself.
wins - peroni bottle opener, peroni bowl, peroni coastersx2 and a vodkat cocktail kit,
would love to win something 'proper'!!0 -

Well I am not sure what Boots is like, but I have bought some from argos before and they came in a sealed bag inside the box. If that was opened they would not return them...unless they were faulty. If they arent sealed in a plastic then I am thinking you could return them...I have babyliss curling tongs and they are great! All men hear is blah, blah, blah, blah, SEX, blah, blah, blah, FOOD, blah, blah, blah, BEER:wall:0 -

I checked my record of orders on Boots.com and I ordered stuff in the 75% off sale on 10th Jan 2007.0

Im saving the others for the 75% sale and guilt free spending (i.e DH cant moan!)..then i'll enjoy building them up again all year.0
