Boots Grabbit Bargains Part 13 - Post your finds here

Visited Boots today to get the 39.99 double dreamland.
It scanned at 49.99.
Seems that they had this one on display with a £39.99 shelf label.
The difference seems to be the dual controls - the £39.99 is the same except for a single control.
I was a little wary asking for a £10 refund given that I had almost £37 worth of points from the sale - but a nice manager did it quite happily.
Good luck,
Duder0 -

Hi
Having been reading this thread for the last week or two, I had managed to accumulate over 5000 points. I decided to spend some points on a gift set from Elizabeth Arden for my Mother-in-law. I was all set to buy the Provocative woman gift set which consists of 30ml EDT and 100ml body lotion for £21 but SA very kindly informed me that the 30ml EDT's on their own were reduced to £10, were on 3 for 2 and that there was a glitch on the till whereby, if you bought 2 of the EDT's (2 x £10) and something else dearer, the 3 for 2 saving would apply to the more expensive item.
It seemed a bit strange but she demonstrated it with the limited edition 8 hour cream (£15) and, sure enough, the total came to £20. As MIL likes the 8 hour hand cream (£18), I asked her to try that and the total again came to £20.
So I got 2 30ml EDT and a 75ml 8 hour hand cream (which MIL would prefer to the body lotion) for £20. Because I'd originally wanted a gift set, the SA wrapped one EDT and the hand cream and put them in a lovely gift bag for me.
I think the glitch would also work with the other reduced fragrances (Red door and green tea were the ones I saw). The SA said she assumes the glitch works because the EDT was previously more than the hand cream (£18) so, presumably, this will work with anything that is less than the original cost of the EDT (don't know how much that was, unfortunately)
Hope this makes sense and is useful to someone.0 -

Although I do appreciate the sympathy (there are some scary people on some of these threads) and with a name like Taffyscot I could even be close enough to nip round for the tea later.
Well my first attempt at bootsing and returns was a nightmare, told you all I was hopeless, but I'll fill you in tomorrow, far too late now and me nerves are just settling after the experience.
Maybe if I got some sleep and didn't sit up all night reading what you guys have been up to I'd be better at it........0 -

I haven't used the photo department in boots before but wanted to get a couple of photo gifts ready for tuesday.
*Do they do them in store in an hour?
*Do they do keyrings?
If not, can anyone suggest a place where I might get a photo keyring done by tuesday? Tried Tesco but they are swamped!0
