  • Hi everyone,

I don't want to get to excited, but...................................

Whilst in Boots funnily enough today I tried my advantage card and got a few offers, but none I could really use like the 100pts on Botanics things and I can't remember the rest. Sounds boring yes, but here's the but................

My son's card which I sorry he used to only get competitions on got all the same offers as me!!!!!
:j:beer: Fingers crossed this is the start of something good, so all those who were in the same situation, perhaps things are about to change for you. He has had his card for about a year now, if that helps anyone.

oh chico I am glad it is you posting again I thought someone was pulling you up over your spelling and I thought it was dreadful lol. By the way if I have a cuppa in my hand I can't do the capital letters so for all you out there that think I am an ignoramus
    well I am Taffy

No only me extracting the michael out of me goodself, saves anyone else the bother.......:rotfl:

Although I do appreciate the sympathy (there are some scary people on some of these threads) and with a name like Taffyscot I could even be close enough to nip round for the tea later.

Well my first attempt at bootsing and returns was a nightmare, told you all I was hopeless, but I'll fill you in tomorrow, far too late now and me nerves are just settling after the experience.

Maybe if I got some sleep and didn't sit up all night reading what you guys have been up to I'd be better at it........

    My first ever glitch!!
Model Me shampoos, conditioners and styling products are 3 for the price of 2 at the mo - cheapest free.
However there is a ACM coupon for a free Model Mee Styling Product when you buy a shampoo and conditioner!
    Here's my receipt:
    Bdry Liquid £6.49 (styling product)
    HC Shampoo £5.99
    HC Conditioner £5.99 now 0.00
    Saving £5.99
    Save:
    Includes prev HC Cond
    Includes previous Bdry Liquid
    Saving £6.49 now - £6.49
So paid £5.99 for ! Model me Shampoo, 1 model me Conditioner and 1 Model me Blow drying Spray!
I only got one coupon on my card!
This is the range found by Toni and Guy and avertised by Jamelia, Helena Christinson etc..

    Hope that helps!

Yep I can confirm this works - thanks Bristolfarmer.

Bought the Jamelia shampoo & conditioner and finishing serum - till removed one item from total for 3for2 offer, and another item for the ACM voucher - paid £6 for 3 items. :j ..and got my free diet coke too :T.

SA was well impressed...I like those SA's rather than the one's who look like you're taking the money direct from their own pocket !
  • I really like these, bought some yesterday - the pineapple & mango ones & noticed they scanned at 25p so went back for some more! Don't know if the other flavours would scan like this as none in my Boots at the moment - it may be they are being discontinued.

I bought some of these ages ago in boots for 25p and they were lovely, except for the laxative effect that they had. Be warned, dont eat too many at once!!!

    Hi,
Ordered some items on Wednesday due to the 15% off - 3 x 1/2 price Gillette Gift Sets (superb value), a No.7 P&P 200mls & a couple of bits & bobs to take the order to £87 - total cost after discount & £10 off code was £63.50.

I received my order yesterday & it didn't contain the free No.7 gift for purchases over £18.

Called CS & they explained that they had none left & apologised. They put 1800 points onto my card so we could spend £18 in store to get the free No. 7 gift.

My 1st dealings with CS & all I can say it that they're superb.

    :T

Just an update on the above - I received the No.7 giftset today via post, the sent it on its own - superb service!!!
  • Not a huge glitch, but better than nothing!

Got the ACM voucher for a free Expert Bikini Hair removing cream sachet WYB any Expert product but saved extra.

Well in the spirit of all things hair removing, I chose the Expert shaving mousse, conveniently on offer at £1.32 (save 1/3) and handed over the voucher.

    Till did this:

    Expert Shaving Mousse £1.99
    Expert Cream £0.00

    then it applied the **Save**
Expert Shaving Mousse - minus 67p
Expert Bikini Cream - minus 67p.

    Total to pay: 65p :T

Pretty sure this would work the same on other expert items as the till takes the item at full price, the applies the save.

    HTHS;)
