Do you think they have fixed this because of my alert here? Last night I posted when it was Wednesday already (early morning). The offer was still on.
Is there anyway we can tell each other about the glitch without letting Boots people know about it?
Quite possibly although we never know who is lurking round the corner on here!0 -
What's the Oral B voucher that everyone is referring to?
I wanna buy an electric toothbrush for my ma.0 -

My sister in law bought me a gift that I don't want, I phoned Customer Services and they said it can be exchanged no problem. Only problem is I had bought the same gift for my aunt, who has happily winged it back to her holiday home in Spain with hers, but I bought it when it was reduced and I think it is now back up in price, I was ill thinking that they'd be able to see the one I bought and think it was the same one, yip, I'm an absolute coward when it comes to returning things!
While I'm on a roll though, I have my eye on something a bit more expensive, can I use my advantage card and get points and will they give it for the extra spend or the whole transaction, I know my sister in law didn't get the points, because she doesn't even have a card!
Will the computer recognise this or how does it work?
Gawd, I really do hate returning things, I'm definitely a wimp!
I was just thinking, what if the gift was actually now less than when you bought it, would you only get an exchange for the sale price?
Must remember to keep the receipts for people's pressies if that's the case, although I'm sure lots of them wouldn't like to hurt your feelings by asking for it. How many would ask their Dragon mother in laws for the receipt to return their christmas gift, lol!
Receipts are another thing that I'm officially hopeless with!0 -

They may take your word for it, I dont know about Boots,it's never happened to me.
But I bought a load of stuff at M+S online sale, and returned most of to the store. The assistant asked me had I paid full price for them?
Apparently their tills dont show how much was paid. I had a print out of the prices, and gave it to her. I could have cleaned up if I had said I paid full price. But if your honest your honest, I suppose.
BTW- A tip for receipts is Use a big brown envelope and Mark it ''Christmas receipts. I just stick them all in there, its so handy~ What goes around comes around ~0 -

I'd probably lose the envelope thogh, I really am dreadful with these things.
Honesty does have a way of doing you out of loads of bargains!
I used to love tuning into the Tesco R+R Thread, it was great fun, just couldn't have done it though, I'd be embarrassed walking into the store,
never mind facing the customer service dragons....:rotfl:0 -

At spelling as well obviously........:rotfl:0 -
You'll get the points for the whole transaction, e.g. if you're returning something that costs, say, £5, and you exchange it for something that costs £10, you'll get points for £10 (and incidentally any vouchers they do, like £5 No7 or £2 haircare when they do them).
This didn't happen for me the other day. The new style tills only give you points on the net amount and the till spits for the hair vouchers were only given if the net amount was over the limit. The new tills tell them if a item was subject to any promotional points or free gifts now as well as I was asked whether I had the nail polish when I exchanged a scholl product .0
