:bdaycake:Happy birthday Mrs Salad Dodger, hope its a good one and you enjoyed your lie in,sorry forgot to mention it earlier.
The day seems to have flown,my DB visited for an hour at lunchtime.he took DN birthday card with him for next week and 'happened' to mention Xmas arrangements as he said she was asking what was happening. As they have been coming ever since she was born,it's a fair bet to say they would be here again this year.He said I might want a restfat chance. She replied that it wouldnt be the same if they didnt come here.
Picked up DGS but I was greeted with smiles instead of sulks- I think because DS told him this morning that I would be there because he'd be at work.I did take him a krispie cake made with white choc though- bribery moi ?

Hi chums
Camelot I too love thepeace and quiet of w'rose ,although I only go when I have a voucher to spend and usually lat on a Sunday as the one nearest to me is a 11 mile journey .I hope to get a voucher before Christmas to get some really 'specially nice ' bits.I do hate the Musak is shops especially before Christmas,Noddy Holder screaming IT'S CHRISTMAS puts me right off.Hard enough to think and remember what you need without distractions ,but that's probably the idea
Dumpling I too have the decorations and tee going up on 1st December as its the day before my eldest DDs birthday and we have done it for the past 51 years since she was born
It cat's and dogs here in Kent at the moment and I'm just awaiting either my son-in-law or Dd to arrive home from work then I shall splodge home to my house
Eldest DGD came this morning with my DGGD Erin, and she is just starting to crawl and is fascinated with toes so playing with my toes in my mules gave her the giggles on the floor and an upturned saucepan and her spoon bashing away made her roar with laughter. She is a dear little sparrow and determined to stand up if she can,I am a besotted Great Granny:)
Did well at quiz last night with another two bottle to go into the communal stash
I am hoping the weather will brighten up as my gardener is due tomorrow and he will only be here for possibly one or two more times to put the garden to bed for the winter
right must pop the kettle on for another cuppa
Have a good evening chums and gentle hugs for those who need one
