    My nurse has just left and hopefully I will only have to have one more visit from them as my legs are looking a lot better.

    Been to hospital, SM and got petrol. That's me on the sofa for the rest of the day unpicking some stitching on the skirt, and then sewing ;essons tonight.
    Nelski, hate to say it, but you probably have to have a conversation about POA...And happy new mattress :)

    Hi all, I aiten't dead. Not quite, anyway. Apologies for yet another absence; I'm still up to my eyes in RL, and something has to give. My sanity may be the next thing on the list....

    I'm annoyed I missed Holly's birthday – Nels, would you be kind enough to pass along a very belated Hoppy Birdday for me, pretty please?

    Tru I did laugh at Scampi understanding “Mr Grumpy” meaning Mr Tru. My guests all very quickly know who I mean when I say “Go and see Uncle Wolf” (inserting his real first name of course)

    Dumpling I'm glad you have some medical attention for your legs – when last I read the Daily, you were saying you couldn't get to the GP to get them looked at.

    ScarletRibbons I hope the wee pup gets on ok with his/her injections. My guest Bessie went home yesterday, via the vets, to get her stitches out from her recent spaying op. I've had a text from her Mum to say she's fine, vet was pleased with her, and they had a lovely long walk in their local park.

    Snoozer – oh no, I'm so sorry. I hope Laura is as ok as she can be in the circumstances.

    Mrs SD – Hoppy Birdday.

    Right, I have to shift my fat posterior and head kitchenwards. I need to crowbar Mr Wolf off the sofa too, as I need him to cut onions and carrots (making veggie Shepherd Spy for tonight's and tomorrow's dins). We have a new guest arriving at 16:00 tomorrow, so a Ding Dins seems like a good plan, hence making something that does us two days.
    If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
