Greetings from a wet and miserable Kildare...... hoping that things will brighten as the day goes on.

Nelski, please include me in birthday wishes for Holly.

Glad to hear that CHS is progressing well Hester..... look after yourself too.

My turn to cook today..... stew feels right so will get onto that shortly.

Love and hugs to all in need or want of some.

Hello all, it's been a damp and grey day here :(.
Who was it that hijacked the Sandman last night ? Come on own up ! :rotfl: I was still awake at 5am, just could not drop off to sleep trying to put the world to rights, well my world anyway, so I will probably have an early night.
We have been up Dad's all day cleaning and I changed his bedding too. Not my favourite pastime but it really needed doing. We even cleaned the inside of his conservatory, but first we had to move his soup mountain from under the table........ there must have been 30 tins at least and even more in the cupboard under the stairs and in the larder etc . I also had to twist his arm to let me put 14 empty jam jars in the recycling too. ( He thought they would come in handy one day )

Anyway we are home and bone tired. I am aching in places I never thought could ache, so I will have a relaxing soak in the tub after tea.

Nelski :AI'm sorry that you're still not sleeping well. Perhaps I should arm the Sandman with a soft (Thor like ) hammer instead of his wand........ if I ever get him back :rotfl:. Perhaps a couple of medicinal glasses of Prosecco might do the trick .

Please give Holly my love and add my name to her birthday card. I hope she will stay a little while longer.

I hope the animals stay safe and calm tonight as it looks like Bonfire night will go ahead, well here at least.
    LaineyT Hi

Sorry I have forgotten who said what :o. My brain is somewhat fried from trying to sort out Dad's hospital dates. He even had all of us confused at one point, with all his bits of paper here, there and everywhere.

I shall send healing vibes to all the poorly people (including Snoozer's Steve and Hester's CHS ) and copious hugs to anyone who wants or needs them.
    Take care of yourselves.
    nan xx
