Le Kirk can do it .... or PM a Board Guide (Crabman, savvy or soolin] and ask if they will do so.

You'll find links to them on the forum thread list (one page back from this one - use your back button to get there) and you'll find links to them at the bottom r/h side of that page.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

These are the things I recall about Newcastle Airport/UKPPO's 'regime' there:

    - the PCN says it was issued 'pursuant to byelaws' but it wasn't

    - it was a PARKING charge notice, so that is a different animal, about alleged contractual breach

    - their contract was with another third party, Park & Fly Ltd, not the Airport owners

    - the signs were stuck on wire fences out of sight, small print, badly phrased

    - images were taken by CCTV by third parties, Park & Fly staff not conversant with the Trade Body Code of Practice

    - the times on photos often did not match the 'parking breach time' on the NTK, sometimes 3 or 4 minutes out

    - the Bylaws stated that PENALTIES could be issued. Not 'parking charge notices'

    - the Airport's owners included Local Authorities, thus the land should have been operated under the TMA2004, not with a mish-mash regime where UKPPO couldn't decide whether their charge was a penalty or a parking charge.

  • Would you advise my SAR is sent via recorded delivery, or Email please? I've seen arguments for both. Thanks.

  • I'm just constructing my SAR to UKPPO Ltd, and wondered whether I should use a GDPR request or a pre May 2018 version? I thought GDPR gave me the right to see everything they have on me regardless of when they obtained it?

Also, I've been doing some research into UKPPO Ltd, and the company on the PCN is UK Parking Patrol Office Limited Registration Number 07105527.

But the DVLA have confirmed the database access request was from a 'Business' registered at Unit 4 Butman St, Manchester, M18 8TG, of which I assume is UK Parking Patrol Office Manchester Business Reference Number UI05685001 (Note - Not a ltd company).

Do I also need to SAR this second company? Or should I wait to see what comes back from the 1st?

    1) You need to use the GDPR one
    2) Ask DVLA to send you a copy of the data request as they can't use the KADOE system for a byelaw offence.
