Is there a problem with Premium Bonds this month?

My wife and I have each held the maximum holdings for many years and for as long as I can remember we have ‘won’ something each month but this month nothing.
Have there been changes in PB?
Anyone else in the same boat?
I realise this is a game of chance but unusual results nonetheless.

Sounds more like there is a problem with your expectations

Have to agree with Alistair, even with a maximum holding its not realistic to expect to win every month.
I find (also with max holding) that I get between 1*£25 a month and 4*£25 on a regular basis but I do get 'bare' months too. That's the nature of random and luck.
There were a few changes to premium bonds in the budget, but they related to; who can buy them (relatives on behalf of kids etc) and the minimum spend has been lowered. Nothing that affects the rate or prize fund though.0 -
You've done better than the average over the many years then!My wife and I have each held the maximum holdings for many years and for as long as I can remember we have ‘won’ something each month but this month nothing.

As per the MSE PB calculator, the chances of a zero return in any given month with a maximum £50K holding are 13%, so you should each typically expect this to happen every 7-8 months on average, or a blank month for both of you together would be 13% of 13% = 1.69% or about every five years.0 -
There is definitely something wrong because I didn't win too.0

There have been some delays this month, including Premum Bonds, due to a technical glitch. Having said that, I agree that you cannot expect to win every month even with the maximum holding.0 -
