I think you know what you need, but haven’t expressed it.

For absolute clarity, each Tesco bank account needs 1 direct debit mandate that pays out 3x per month.
That sounds like the same thing that i just expressed :rotfl:

    I'm puzzled why you're laughing.

Three direct debits aren't the same as one direct debit paying out three times. :(

You'll have to forgive me. I type like i'm talking to people i meet day-to-day and not solicitors who latch on to the finer details of where you went wrong.

What i meant was making sure a PO saver has 3 direct debits set up on the one Tesco account, as in set up 3 direct debits from the one PO saver.

Yes i know that's not what i said but then like i did say - i don't spend my normal day making sure every word i say is perfect and can't be picked apart :)

    So ok, you got me.:T

Out of interest, Is there any reason why I wouldn't be able to edit a scheduled payment? Edit button remains greyed out permanently when I select any one of the highlighted lines. I mean, if the payment was due in the next working day then I could understand it. I was just having a look but seems editing is not an option, even though I can see it there.

With the PO, changing your original DD could mean losing it altogether if you cancelled & set a new one up. The new DD would just continually bounce.

It could actually be easier to wait until the next issue is released & just open a new account with new DD instruction.

I changed the linked account, and then setup the scheduled payments (not the other way). So, it just seems weird that the weekly and one off payments i've scheduled are greyed out when I highlight to edit. Wouldn't have thought that would cause a problem. I guess until the next issue I'll have to use one of my midshire accounts for co op instead. Cheers.
