Not withdrawn the month's shopping budget yet as still eating up the Christmas surplus so no real cash to add.

Another £2.50 cleared in Quidco account so have clicked withdraw abd will add it to my sealed pot bank account when it arrives. Have three payments now pending so looking forward to seeing that account grow.

Potted a couple of pounds this afternoon after using cash rather than card today. It also made me think more before buying.
Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.

Hi Sue - Can I join please and request a number?

Welcome to the thread IWillSucceed. Sue will give you a number next time she pops in. Take the time to read the very informative first post in the meantime.

    Hi all, Hope your well.
Had a successful week (by my standards), managed to pot a £1 most days through not spending at work. Even better while i had a bag of crisps today someone had left 60p in the machine so i got them for 10p of my own £1. So extra in the pot as a result. I'm off to a wedding tomorrow. In 2 minds whether to spend on my card for drinks (i need to as aiming for the Amex 2for1 companion voucher) or taking out cash so i will have change at the end to add to my pot as i feel a fluffy feeling adding to my pot... decisions...
I'll let you know what i decide...
    Happy potting all

  • Hi.
I've just signed up to mse after reading all of your posts, I'd really like to join this group please.

You've inspired me to try and save as I'm due number 3 in 20 days  and would like a pot to put towards a car at the end of the year.

Ive already super glued the lid of an old biscuit tin down and stuck about £15 in change in there :)

    Thanks x

    Hello Sue

So sorry to have gone missing, real life got in the way. SPC11 has a lovely total which was so useful at Christmas - I just need to find the old envelope which I wrote the number on and then I’ll declare it. Please can I join SPC12 - I’ll need a new number though!

    Thanks!
