£3.00 into the sealed pot yesterday
£3.50 into the sealed pot today
£1.58 of loose change raided from my purse and husband's coin tray and put into our change pot.

I've been really slow on this lately, mainly due to an expensive couple of months meaning there's not a lot of spare change going about! I really need to focus on this type of saving, because I almost think of it as surprise money. I don't count it in my savings totals and don't know how much is in there so i'll be glad i put the effort in, come opening time!

Little bit more potted, now at over £178 in it.
Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.

Hello again Potters!!! :D Here's hoping you've had a really good week and stayed free from the virus! I haven't been able to get through to MSE until now!
For all others who are not well or who are low in spirits, take great care of yourselves. Get well soon and {{{{hugs}}}} from all the SPC family.

We are very much better, Robin, thanks very much indeed, both very tired. :D Brilliant potting! :j

Thanks so very much, siju, we're most definitely on the mend. Great squirrelling for you too!! Have a wonderful time!

Thanks a lot, jakes-mum, we are. I'm so pleased you've got your tickets and are on countdown mode!! I'm glad you and your Mum are much better.

Well done, Hetty! I hope you didn't go too mad with the ice cream as it's supposed to be a good weekend ahead! I see you're finding potting addictive, brilliant. Well done with your second pot too, nice work with the upcycling!!

I’ve added £3 to my pot today so am now up to £50.

I think I’ve got the start of a virus/flu that’s going round but am having to force myself to go into work tonight as I don’t get any sick pay.

You're doing really, really well, Loz!! Quite understandable that you go careful for now. PS. Try not to concern yourself about not being able to save much, hopefully things might turn around for the better. Take great care of yourself as if it's anything like DH & I have just got over, it really knocks you about. I understand you don't get sick pay, but IF it's that wicked virus going round, anything else for that matter, just be careful NOT to pass it on!!!!! :naughty: Fantastic potting BTW!!! :j

Very well done, Choccygirl!! Super news about getting your survey cash!! :D PS. Don't worry too much as I understood you, at least you're saving and saving well!! :dance:All the very best in your sales on eb!y! :D

Great going, datlex, a great total so far too!! So pleased you're finding SPC so addictive! :D

Hi 32b3! It's good to really be on the mend at last, thanks a lot. You're right though, our DD has heard of so many viruses doing the rounds. :( Crikey - we're that far in to SPC 12?!! Isn't time going fast!!

An excellent win, Dragon Lily!! :j I'm pleased to hear you're still potting away and making that pot a whole lot heavier!! Keep it up.

Ah it's great to see you, Raggl! :D As long as you're saving well, we'll forgive your absence. ;)

Well done PM02, great work, keep it going as I know you will!! :D

Great work, claremylove!! Fingers crossed for the notes to follow on soon! ;)

Hello there KONG, good to see you. Good saving too!!

Excellent potting, Maddie and great work with your budget!! Have a wonderful time with your friends! :D

You're viewing SPC very wisely, Homegrown, and surprise money is a brilliant way to refer to it as!! :money:You've saved brilliantly yet you've had a rough slow couple of months, so be very proud of yourself!!

    Very good saving, Chutney!

We went shopping for the first time yesterday, glad to get back though. However, there's a lovely £20 nestled in the pot and making friends!

To all Sealed Potters: You're all doing really well!! :j To those who are finding it difficult, please don't worry as however much you pot, at least you're not spending it!!! :money: Be proud everyone!

Have a Fantastic Weekend, SPCers, and....feed your pots need when you're able!!! ;)

    Sue

    Happy Monday fellow potters!

This weekend was good for roadkill, found 14p! Even found more roadkill in the gym yet again (that's three times now)

Popped a few quids into the pot and emptied my wallet of my coppers. Hubby is off to sell an old computer monitor we don't need and we should be getting £31 for that. Take care, all!
