    Pollycat,

When people do online searches, they invariably end up in these forums/thread because of the technology that sits behind search engines.
So, irrespective of whether the thread is old, the 'keywords' contained in these thread work in favour of a 'user; that is 'clicking' links of these websites from search engines.:o
I asked a perfectly sensible question - a number of websites were mentioned.
    So to say:

I've been getting spam from this company for some time - they are sending emails to an address I used to use on eBay.

Don't know any more than that and I've never knowingly bought from them :(

needed clarification - if the new poster wanted any form of advice.

And it's a fact that the thread is 'almost a year old'.

Agree - the thread is one year old, correctly found.

However, if an online user is searching for information re: these companies online, he/she will end up landing in these forums over and over again, prompting him to send a reply or add his point of view.

So perhaps understanding the above might help while replying with positive intentions.

    I do understand the above.

But nobody can help when someone says

    and nobody knows which company.

Which is why I asked the question:

    Which company?

Would you have preferred that the post from PDC was ignored?
It would have been if I hadn't replied.
