People will whinge about anything wont they. I personally have never had an issue with Curry's.

Or is this like when people were having a whinge about Starbucks because they (legally) didn't pay as much tax as what some people thought they should and it was all based on morals <rolleyes>. Where at the end of the day, if i'm happy with the price & product i couldn't give a monkeys about peoples morals :rotfl:

The only issue I had with an item bought at Currys PC World was dealt with professionally and quicker than expected. I was deflated, having gone in prepared for a battle!

Nothing to do with tax or morals - more likely the p*ss poor customer service when purchases breakdown. Have a quick forum search on the Consumer Rights board and you will find myriad threads regarding Currys/ PC World.

I'm not as experienced at 'life' as some people here but from my limited experience i would have to say that just about sums up people these days.

Sure there are exceptions. There's no 1-size-fits-all but so many people just don't care.

Someone walks in front of you as you're driving along. Give them a beep. Way back when you may have got a wave to signal yeah i ballsed up there, sorry. These days it doesn't matter how wrong they were it's a case of F you i'll do what i want.

I've been on the shop floor at work when customers have been complaining. You can see my co-worker is clearly not interested one bit. Then the customer is barely out the door & the co-worker (and there isn't just one) is flipping fingers in the direction of the customer F off you D'head.

I find it more shocking these days when people actually DO care. I find myself trying to figure out if they're taking the piddle and they're pretending to care, it's like i can't quite believe it.

So i'd say not limited to Curry's but probably applies up & down the land.

I've been getting spam from this company for some time - they are sending emails to an address I used to use on eBay.

Don't know any more than that and I've never knowingly bought from them :(

    Pollycat,

When people do online searches, they invariably end up in these forums/thread because of the technology that sits behind search engines.
So, irrespective of whether the thread is old, the 'keywords' contained in these thread work in favour of a 'user; that is 'clicking' links of these websites from search engines.:o
