American Express and credit limit increases?

I'm not sure it is improbable. My experience with Amex is that after getting a card they will increase the limit if I ask them to within a week or so. There was no waiting 3 months or 6 months as some other people have indicated. Amex seem a lot more flexible with their limit setting in my personal experience.0

They also offer limit increases after carrying out financial reviews. An almost doubling of the credit limits promptly follows whenever Amex have carried out these reviews in my experience.0

15K to 22.5K on a credit card after 2 months? Still don't buy it.0

(Please ignore. I wrote a post in error, but can't seem to simply delete it. Apologies.)0

It’s certainly not impossible (speaking from experience)0

I got my Amex in Jan 2014, and the limit was reasonable. I used it a lot initially for the cashback and I still use it to this day. 6 years on and my limit is extremely high now. I guess you'll have to wait a few months and apply for a limit increase.0
