I seriously do not read from what you have put, that they have acted fraudulently.

As a Visa Officer in Lagos I was not unaccustomed to dealing with fraud. I would venture that, in this instance, the PPC has acted fraudulently.

Yes, where the car was parked there are no signs at all, there is a near sign but it has an arrow pointing in the opposite direction from the area the car was parked. The pic they attatched as evidence of the sign is not even in the area, its from the wrong post code they have written on PCN.

OK, if you can evidence all of that with videos that prove they have used a sign from a completely different car park (not just made an error with the postcode on the PCN) you may have a case for BPA complaint.

I hope you do! We all want UKPC and their ilk, brought down.

  • I want to update on what has happened, I sent a complaint with videos to BPA i got no reply till now. UKPC has sent POPLA qoute but I have ignored that, strangely they sent a diffrent refrence ticket number as if the car had gotten 3 tickets not 2!!! And Im sure there were only 2 tickets on the car this third one I know nothing about, I havent apealed it because I didnt know it even existed! It is for the same date as tge 2nd ticket. What should I do? Please advice...

What do you mean by "POPLA quote"? Have they sent a reference number, have they said "you lost at POPLA so pay up"? You cant give a half formed sentence and expect anything meaningful. We cant read minds :)

If you have a THIRD ticket then, oddly enough, you have to appeal. End of.

They sent a POPLA code but I haven't done anything about it, I mean I haven't appealed using this reference number. Third ticket was given 22 September so its past the apeal stage now, they want the full amount of money and no apeal can be made for it. Just received a letter stating that the due amount is £100 as more than 14 days have passed. Not sure where this ticket came from even, the car had only 2 tickets on it, those I have apealed. They have pics of the car with the third ticket as well but I never recieved it nor a not to keeper was sent. What should I do about POPLA? I have done nothing because I complained to BPA so was expecting an answer from them. What to do about the third ticket? Hope this is clear enough and no more mind reading is required.

What date was that code issued to you?

If you haven't appealed that to UKPC, then just copy and paste the initial appeal from the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, post #1 and send that off - see what they come back with. You need to engage with their process to show you have acted reasonably in trying to sort this out, should this ever get to a court stage.
What should I do about POPLA? I have done nothing because I complained to BPA so was expecting an answer from them.
If you've missed your POPLA deadline, you've missed your best chance of getting this killed off.
What to do about the third ticket?
If this is the one you refer to of the 22 September, then follow my advice above.

But I have to say that this is starting to look a bit of a train crash to me.

Yep, a crash caused by inaction

OP - you got POPLA code, so you had to appeal. Thats ;literally what POST 1 of the newbies thread is for - getting a POPLA code. You cannot just sit and wait.
