Well my desk expenses have been approved so I should hopefully get that back in my next pay packet. Yay.

I’ve used my new desk with the sit/stand adapter for 2 days now and I LOVE it. I think it’s fabulous.

I have £4 from TopCashBack ready to OP on the mortgage. Just need the money in my account before I can actually OP it.

I’m feeling positive today - could be because it’s my Friday though! Two days of work per week is the future!!

Also because I know you are all waiting with bated breath…the room I first put it in is now at 55% humidity!

I'm thinking of getting an adapter too twinklie, glad to hear its worth it - I was a little worried that it might clutter up the desk.

Also, brilliant news re. the dehumidifier.

My gas and electricity estimates continue to come down. Woo hoo.

So they were telling me my DD needed me to be something like £280 or something at one point. I set it to £250. Every month it’s been coming down. The latest is it needs to be £223 pm. I suspect it will keep coming down.

Obviously, this is until April when they say it needs to go back up…but that’s dependant on what happens with the energy prices then.

So my annual usage estimate has gone from (peak estimate):
    Electricity - £3,705
    Gas - £4,120

    to
    Electricity - £1,618
    Gas -£1,850.

    It’s quite a difference.

Another £10 OP to make. Reinvested my £25 premium bond win back into premium bonds.

Had a mental week at work. It was genuinely exhausting. But only a 3 day week next week so can focus more on well-being.

We’ve done more work in the house. Pantry cupboard shelving done, so I’ve done a store cupboard shop to make use of cheap offers.

It’s also freed up space in the kitchen so I’ve been able to reorganise there a bit. Yay me.

More work to do in utility and kitchen, but it is definitely looking better and much more functional. I almost feel like we are reclaiming the space - which was the point of the exercise tbf.

Gas and electric bill has reduced to £222 pm, so that’s good. I’m pleased it’s continuing to reduce month on month.

Dehumidifier has been on virtually non stop as well. But the house feels so much warmer.

I'm sure you do this but I thought I'd just check.  If they send your winnings to your bank & then you buy more bonds you get one less month in the draw.  If your account is set to automatically reinvest then they go in the next draw.

Thanks @badmemory. I do know this, but they weren’t set to reinvest because previously I’ve OPd the winnings.

But a timely reminder to revisit it though. Thank you.
