    Indeed.

However, I'm going to keep a hard copy of their Welcome Pack in a very safe place - just in case!

I've decided to challenge this now, rather than wait and get caught up in the inevitable wrangle later on when they do put up their charges.

I'll wait for their response to my rejection email and will then contact the Ombudsman. I'll be making the point that I'm not the only person caught up in this.

I'll also contact moneysavingexpert to see if they want to get involved.

As asked above, what is the tariff name?

    Welcome Home

The information I have is that this tariff is a fixed rate tariff, but was withdrawn from sale to new applicants on 05 September 2019, having been launched on 12 July 2018. It was available as dual fuel only.

As asked above, "Have they informed you that prices are increasing?"

No they haven't. I was told by them yesterday that their prices have not increased. Why are you asking?

Sorry, I obviously have failed to understand the issue here.

It's good that you have confirmed that you have not been inforned of a price increase because
    (a) it's a fixed rate tariff (at least according to the information I have)
    (b) I wasn't aware of any price increase either

The reason for asking again, was because I could not see any answer given previously to this question

    :)

    Welcome Home

However, I think that those involved should not rely on the name Welcome Home as meaningful. Here is a picture of the relevant section of my Welcome Pack. It's a bit fuzzy but you can see the mention of a date for "Tariff ends on..." and "Price Guaranteed Until ..."

Anyone who has a Welcome Home tariff with this wording in it needs to be aware that Eversmart are claiming that this is not a Fixed price deal.

I have the same details on my welcome pack. To me we have a fixed price!!!

However, worried that they are going to renege on the contract.

The name of a traiff is often just that, a name.

Whilst the name can sometimes imply something, often it does not. It simply identifies the traiff you are on.

I think many MSEers are on probably a gas tariff called Mercury, but I doubt any of them expect that gas to have be produced on, or sourced from that far off planet ;)

I believe the OP is saying that:

"Price guaranteed until 20th August 2019"

Is being bought into question and the Eversmart is not going to honour this as FIXED PRICE!
