Which car?
I'm looking to change my car and I've narrowed it down to the following:
Brand new Hyundai i20 (1.2l)
67 plate Fiesta Titanium (1.0l 125 Ecoboost)
67 plate Nissan Micra (0.9l turbo)
I've seen a lot of things about the Fiesta Ecoboost having problems but it appears to be on older engines, although I've read a lot of things online where people say turbos are a problem and avoid.
If anyone has any advice that would be great, thanks!

None of the above would be my choice I'm afraid, but if I had to pick one it would be the new shape Micra.
The Hyundai would be second choice, although I'd buy 2nd hand. Brand new one will depreciate far too much the minute you drive it off the forecourt.
Don't buy anything with the 1.0 ecoboost engine. You can have results or excuses, but not both.Challenge - be 14 Stone BY XMAS!

A brand new Hyundai i20 will come with a five year warranty. That would be the clincher for me. They are also very good cars.I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.0

OK! Round about the size of thecars above, must have parking sensors and camera (I know how to park but sadly many people who live in my road don't and it makes life difficult), sat nav (although Apple Car Play would do), reasonably comfortable. That's all I can think of at the moment.
I haven't included budget as I'm open to ideas and obviously don't mind used so I know it can vary.

That's the reason I'm considering the Hyundai, although I'm not sure if it will meet my comfort requirements. I had an i20 Coupe and although I loved it you could feel every bump in the road!
They've also got a generous dealer deposit contribution at the moment as well.
I suppose I should have included the Kia Rio as well.0 -
Unless you fancy something from the VAG group (Audi A1, VW Polo, Seat Ibiza, Skoda...) I think the Micra is actually a pretty good shout.
I agree, Hyundai and Kia have come on leaps and bounds so I'm not going to slate them in any way, but as mentioned earlier, I wouldn't buy new even with dealer contribution. Have you had a look on sites like drive the deal etc, as their discount far exceeds anything the dealers will be offering?

I hadn't thought of a Polo, that's definitely one to look at - thanks.0

1.0 Turbo Petrol as it is powerful enough at 118 bHp/ 6000 rpm, with less impact on the environment ;
Carbon Monoxide (mg/km) 58.9
Total Hydrocarbons (mg/km) 10.4
Nitrogen Oxide (mg/km) 12.4
All versions except for variant '1' comes with Apple car play as well.
7 Year / 100,000 miles warranty.
With respect to space, I believe i20 and Rio are similarly sized. Some would even argue that Kia is more 'sportier' than Hyundai to drive.
I am sure a trip to the Kia dealer for a test drive is worth before making your mind up.
Godspeed!0 -
Hyundai without question.
Don't touch an ecoboost
The Micra is a Renault Clio, and I wouldn't touch a 3 cylinder turbo that claims 95BHP from 900 cc.I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....
(except air quality and Medical Science)
