50th Birthday, present & party ideas (merged)

On my 50th I got a card which read.....

"I booked a cruise for your birthday....... now can you please look after my cat while I'm away"

well done you lot some great ideas but i am lucky realy cuz i had alot of jewelrey over all theses yrs so that is out i think unless i find something that realy takes my eye, I shall be in france 4 my b/day so we are all going out for a very nice meal. i am going with my brother his wife and son whom i am very fond of he is 14 and a verypolite and a pleasure to b with( but he dose have is moments) and a very good friend is flying out there to us so there will be six of us just enough for a small party,

so you see i am strugging for ideas,

SO PLEASE KEEP THEM COMiNG

A new brain that works all the time would be great but cant get one of them unles u now some thing i dont no!!!!!!

If there's nothing you want for yourself, then how about alternative gifts from World Vision or Oxfam. People could buy books for an African school or a goat for an Asian village. Things that really benefit people

ginger nuts i ad 2 av that done yrs ago because i ad a lop sided face and had to pay for it my self and people thought i ad done it cus i was vain but i can asure you iam not i dont even were make up. it realy anoys me when people know about it sayin i must be vain but in truth i dont know how to were make up cuz its somethin i have never done ! but i am going to go to av a make over so they can tell me what i need to where and how to apply it,
