I got charged £10 p&p for an item once, and the package postage label stated just over £4.
I was a little P'd off that he'd robbed me of £5, but I was happy with the overall price, and just put it down to experience..I Hate Jobsworths!!!0 -

have a look here - http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/listing-circumventing.html
They may not, the EBAY rules are on excesive p&p charges, they may or may not regard £10 as excesive. The OP obviously didn't regard them as such as they placed a bid on the item0 -
How many more people like this,YOU SAW AN ITEM YOU LIKED THE PRICE,AGREED THE POSTAGE AND PLACED THE BID,so !!!!!!! what if they made a bit extra,YOU WERE HAPPY AT FIRST,GET REAL,
A NOTE TO ALL YOU IDIOTS, LOOK AT THE TOTAL PRICE YOU ARE PAYING ,IF YOU ARE HAPPY BID IF NOT !!!! OFFIMOJACAR

You were not robbed.
You are happy with the overall price. You say so yourself.
What difference does it make to you if the total price of say £20 is made up of £20 plus free postage or £10 plus £10 postage, or indeed any combination that adds up to £20?
None whatsoever.
The only people maybe entitled to complain are Ebay who might be losing out a little on fees and ebay sellers who may think that this means that ebay fees are slightly higher than they would be otherwise.
Buyers should have no complaints.0 -
this same arguement week after week is becoming rather boring is it not?
YOU SAW THE PRICE YOU WERE HAPPY WITH IT AND YOU PAID IT AS IT WAS A BARGAIN AT THE TIME,SO IT SHOULD STILL BE A BARGAIN.
MOVE ON!...work permit granted!0 -
You've got two hopes of getting the seven quid back and bob has just left the building....0

You knew what you had to pay, and you were happy to pay it. So leave it at that.
What do you think, that he should just give you stuff for free?0 -

£7 is £7 at end of the day, im not made of money. If i was i wouldn't be looking for bargains off ebay would i.
But you must have thought is was a bargain when you bought it? or else why did you buy it?
This stupid attitude is really becoming boring now, you were happy with the price, the seller (in a poor third world country) made a little more profit (at Ebay's expense, NOT YOURS!) and now you want to go on about being ripped off.......====0 -
only on ebay you get ppl who think they can dictate sellers profit margins, imagine going to tesco and complaining at customer service after they bought the goods that they don't like their mark up.
get real OP!0 -
I think the OP has got the message now guys lol
