There should be a way of reporting buyers who complain after the end of the auction about:
Postage costs
method of delivery
Ask to collect in person when it wasn't on the listing
I'm sure there are more.0 -
Unfortunately i won't be leaving this issue alone, if the seller had been honest
The seller was honest. He listed the postage charges in the auction.
I understand where you are coming from, but in this case I think pursueing this issue won't get you anywhere.Money in longest works hardest0 -
oh come on surely you thought aboutt this item as a total cost?
why would it of made a difference to you what he paid for postage? you were happy to pay £11.20 for a top you thought that was a good deal or you wouldnt of bought it!!
Its buyers like this that make me really mad. I have been charging £4.00 postage for an item that costs £3.62 postal cost and the rest is for packaging and under the crappy star system people have still marked me down.0 -

When the stars were first introduced in March this year, every item I had for sale was on Free P&P, yet my star rating for this was 4.8...
I guess some buyers are just never happy. Thank god for Blocked Bidder Lists!<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -
I udnerstand whetre you're coming from and it's against ebya's rules but suggesting that he tricked you into thinking you'd got a bargain is ridiculous, surely you look at the total price to make this decision or is a t-shirt for 1p but postage of £100 still a bargain?Bought, not Brought0

At the end of the day you say £7 is £7, but you were happy to pay that before you bothered checking exchange rates. Personally I would only look at exchange rates first when buying from America. It would never occur to me to check up on it after. I have brought many things from America and other places and if I consider the postage as fair, then I bid. I don't buy things for a 1p from Hong Kong and then pay £10 P+P."Failure is always an option"
Sealed pot challenge #107 - still going strong0 -
Ebay would look upon this as "circumventing ebay fees" as, if they charged a higher buy it now with the correct postage cost, ebay would get more in fees.
have a look here - http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/listing-circumventing.html0 -
The seller sold it for £11.19 including postage.
He should have listed it for £8.00 buy it now PLUS £3.19 p&p (or something like that)
everyone would have been happy and he wouldnt have been doing anything wrong (in the buyers eyes or ebays)0
