TalkTalk Voucher Problems

It seems that TalkTalk are having problems with fulfilling voucher promotions. There’s quite a few posts and complaints building up on their billing forum.

I moved over from Plusnet using a promotion here on MSE. The voucher hasn’t been forthcoming and the email provided for queries on the promotion (uk-talktalkvouchers@awin.com) never gets answered.

On a separate issue, I moved from Plusnet but despite being reassured that my account with them has been closed they’ve attempted to charge me for a service I no longer have every month for the last three months. They don’t seem to be able to get a grip on their billing system.

    As this was a third party voucher offer, you would need to contact that third party for fulfillment of this voucher.

    That would be great advice if the company doing the fulfilment actually replied! I’ve contacted them (Awin) twice over the last month and haven’t received a single reply back. Judging by the many others reporting the same issue over on the TalkTalk official forums this isn’t an isolated issue.

    This poor service does not reflect well on TalkTalk and will make others considering switching on this forum think twice before choosing TalkTalk as their new supplier.

    Maybe someone at TalkTalk should look into what’s going on here as it’s not good publicity when a company you employ to issue vouchers on your behalf doesn’t seem to be up to the job.

    I’m glad to say one of the moderators over on the official TalkTalk forum is now taking up my case with Awin direct.

    I’ll report back here with any progress on my case.

  • I signed up through a MSE link in July and after 2 live chats to Talk Talk and 2 emails to awin I've got nowhere. Anyone know an alternative way to contact Awin as they don't respond on the one TT gave me. Voucher would be useful.

    I'm experiencing the same issue. 2 emails to Awin not answered and my voucher was due over 2 months ago. Any suggestions please? I chose Talktalk based on the 'effective' monthly rate with the voucher factored in, so this has meant extra spending on my Wifi bill and I'm locked into a 12 month contract.
  • i signed up via mse in october,i havenot recieved voucher yet ,i chatted online to talktalk yesterday and they advised i emailed awin which i have done,says wait up tp 3 days for reply ,this i will do and hopefully will get an update,,i wonder how many are still waiting for their vouchers too!!

  • well its been 3 days now and no response from email to awin,,this was the email address i used uk-talktalkvouchers@awin.com
  • yesterday i contacted talktalk again via their online chat service,after going through details of the issue again they suggested i contact via email the concerns dept which deal with unresolved issues!!hopefully this will now sort out the problem between AWIN and TALKTALK and the issueing of the the vouchers...
