I hope the scan goes smoothly, ATB.

I got a parking ticket today *curses* but the way I see it I haven't paid for parking for that particular weekly thingy for a year so at £25, it's a bargain. However, will not be pushing my luck again. At least the parking revenue goes to the city; I hope the council spends it wisely - there won't be any more where that came from.

    Is Jojo TT alright?

Off to do the shower room and then snack on some tadpoles. There are rather a lot of them left over from last week.
    Better is good enough.

Back home after work, having a quick cuppa. But not sure much flying will get done after that as feeling tired or more like not motivated. Luckily place is tidy as only me here. Decluttering done today as friend wants a shower bar for her daughter and we have one we no longer use so that is one 'just in case' item rehomed, and a few bits and bobs in the bin and recycling for tonight.
Going to do a bit of admin and banking as trying to make sure a couple of tadpoles don't develop whilst I'm not looking.
    Enjoy your evening

    Morning all

Up, dressed, breakfast eaten, and today is my last day at work for a week, happy danse!

OH home later this morning from a week away and DD2 home tomorrow afternoon so looking forward to seeing them all. DD2 is having friends round for Saturday night so need to clear out and clean the party room (large converted barn area that we hardly ever use and regularly becomes a dumping ground)

Going to work a bit earlier as want to tidy everything up so I can leave as soon as we finish this afternoon.

    Positive thoughts for ATB

    Have a nice day everyone

    Morning all

Thinking of you especially today, atb.

Another busy busy day yesterday left me shattered, and I slept right through for 8 hours until a little wet nose gently nudged my elbow (and it wasn't DH!). I am still tired.

So far this morning I have sorted some papers, eaten breakfast with DH, cleaned all the downstairs floors thoroughly (I found Rosie's squeaky Father Christmas behind the big sofa - it had been missing since March :o) and made another :coffee:

    I need to
    - shower and dress
    - S&S bathroom
    - sort contents of laundry basket which will probably result in doing WMx2
    - make 4 phonecalls
    - do some written work
    - make lunch
    - have my nails done (Me time :D)
    - take R for a walk
    - cook and eat tea
    - take DH to wargames club
    - go to choir practice
    - go shopping on the way home

Jojo, it's very quiet without you :(

Positive thoughts for ATB for today. Xx

A bitty busy morning, with DH under my feet as he is wfh. I'm packing but not in an organised way, partly because it will only be for a couple of days, and partly because DD has made it very clear that she doesn't want to go. She will have to put up with it now, as nothing was booked without everyone agreeing.

I now need to stop DH from clearing the contents of the fridge by eating everything...

Sticking my head round the door to wish atb all the best today.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • I'm still sticking to my cleaning on a morning.
Half term starts now and its great to not be feeling over whelmed by a huge list of cleaning and tidying to do.

My 2 halfterm aims are the conservatory and dig out the caravan for the winter!

    Happy cleaning

Lower level vacummed, superking bed changed. Good. That means I won't have to do much to the house over the weekend, because it's all sort of done. Sort of is good enough.
