Dusted like a madwoman all round downstairs before work this morning. Vacc'd when I got home, but ran out of time when I got to the dining room before I had to go back out again.

1 load of washing finished drying outside, the other is hanging indoors.

Dinner cooked, kitchen sort of given a s&s.

It seems that I might just have been asleep in the armchair for the past half hour...
  • Scan on Friday. Remaining positive.

    Sleep well friends xx

    ATB glad to hear you are positive, have just watched a report this morning on how being positive and optimistic helps our bodies heal and how stress destroys us;

Putting my best SMILE on to go to work as house alarm control box started beeping at 2 this morning (and OH is away) so got up, identified what was beeping, tried internet and instructions (having found them) for info on how to stop it before getting a screwdriver and opening box and removing batteries whilst hoping that it wouldn't set off anti tamper. Success but then couldn't get back to sleep until around 5 so 6.30 wake up was very difficult. probably a good thing I'm on my own at home tonight as I am going to need all my patience for the kids at work today.

Emptied DW this morniing and did tidy kitchen last night before going to bed. More tea then off to work

    Good morning,

I'll be keeping everything crossed for you for Friday, ATB xx.

Ouch, Mademoiselle! I hope the day goes quietly and smoothly.

I have lots of jobs lined up for today, and have to pick up DD later from school for an appointment. I had better get a hurry on. Once the kettle has boiled for coffee, of course.

Just checking in to reassure you all that I'm still more or less alive.

Today's challenge has been to Mishka-proof the bungalow.

I have a one-year-old EXTREMELY inquisitive Siberian Husky coming to stay this afternoon, for six nights. She knows how to operate door handles (luckily our internal doors all have knobs, which are beyond her ability), will "investigate" (ie swipe) anything within reach that's not nailed down, and has a particular fondness for socks.

I could be in for an interesting week...... :D

Ironing away, did more, left to air while I went to work, put it away and ironed last few.
Since there isn't enough washing for another load I'm temporarily off the laundry merry-go-round.
Tea was in slow cooker before I went...campfire stew using last of veg in fridge which happened to be exactly the veg needed for recipe.
Recycling out. Putting away done. Still stuff to put away but think of it as dot-to-dotting. DW loaded and pots washed. Kitchen left nice and tidy. Next week my house will be immaculate lol.
    Sleep tight all x

    Morning all.
Surprisingly flying got off to a great start on Monday and Tuesday, not so much yesterday. Lots planned today so flying will take a back seat again.

    Have a great day everyone.

    Morning everyone,

I've been busy so far, and am flagging, so I've stopped for a coffee in the hope that it will revive me.

So far I have cleared the ironing pile, dropped DD at school, driven to big town for a shop, back home via Wilk0 to get a few bits that have been hanging around on the list for a while, picked up some toiletries for stocking fillers (go me, taking notice of the lists for once!), filled the car with petrol, back home to unpack said shopping and put the wm on.

Luckily yesterday I ticked off bedroom and bathroom cleaning, so today is to be sorting out fridge lurkers, sorting out bits for packing, and paperwork. First of all, I need to brave the loft.
  • Good afternoon friends
