How many bank accounts do we have?

Thought this poll may be fun and surprise a few people and maybe even me, how many bank accounts do we hold? Whether dormant, for donor/switching rewards. I’m use, or ‘as back up’.

I now only have 2 but at one time had 7.

Don't actually know off the top of my head how many I have though. Main ones off the top of my head:

    6 X TSB
    2 X Tesco
    2 X Club Lloyds
    1 X First Direct
    1 X NatWest
    1 X HSBC
    2 X Nationwide

Struggling after that. Would have to go and look them up...

  • 11 here. Mostly for switch incentives and access to good interest rates and regular savers. A bit of a hassle to set up but very minimal effort once they are
  • Just out of curiosity- how do you fund all those accounts, or do you have one just for car costs like insurance fuel tax etc? One for household bills, ones for holiday money and saving, one for salary to go in, etc?
  • 1x Halifax Reward
    1x Lloyds Classic
2x Barclays (One Premier and one a standard current account to be used as a switcher account for the switching incentives).

Oops. Make that 2 NatWest and completely forgot about Halifax (3).

Use just one account as main account. Others opened for access to RS accounts or other account perks. Funding mostly done by manual transfers but have some balance bearing accounts fed by standing order. All managed via MS Money.

They tend to be gloryfied savings accounts really for the ones with decent interest rates. Then theres ones like Halifax reward & co-op everyday rewards which keep minimal in just enough to cover DD just for the free cash. The only account worth having purely for bills it santander 123 lite as its bills you get cashback on.

"We" don't have any, because I don't open joint accounts with people I don't know. The number of accounts that I have is of no relevance to you.
