Your MP's reply isn't very exciting, he's basically kicked the can further down the road (and cleared your complaint off his desk). Why not thank him for his action and ask him what he anticipates from the referral, and by when he has requested a response from the Minister. Ask whether he will be progress chasing the case, and by when you can expect a response from him.
It was good to get a response from her this time! She did sign off with 'I will contact you when I receive a response. In the meantime, if there is anything further I can do to help, please do not hesitate to contact me'.I do intend to follow up with her and ensure I request updates.

Oops. Assumed it was a male MP.  Let's see whether she's worth her salary (and your future vote).
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Quite! Now I have got a response I will certainly be chasing it up. I need to respond to thank her for her response, in which I will also be stating my expectations and intentions.

Ensure she contacts Robert Jenrick MP (Housing Minister) who is tasked with producing the new mandatory CoP.  You want to know how the millions of people who will be most affected, the UK motoring public, will get a chance to be consulted about this in accordance with the new parking bill. I can't remember the exact words of the Bill, but it is something along the lines that the Secretary of State will ensure that all those involved will be consulted.

I wonder how Henderson knows what she knows from her two posts?

I got Will Hurley's email address, I seem to recall, from a post by the Parking Prankster, a real hero.
As to the upcoming consultation stage for the new Code for parking companies, I contacted the BSI directly.
PS  I am he, not a she.

The Parking Prankster was a hero until he became dragged down by other stuff and people.  I think you know what I mean.  I feel sorry for him in the way his name was used by some, but wish him well in his real business away from parking matters.

I reasonably believed C_L_S Henderson is a 'she' due to the username choice of initials. I think this poster is an alter ego account in any case.
