I had a company claim they made a loan agreement with them when I did not
How can I put an explanation on my report?
Also there is a debt from 2010 stil showing, should not that be gone after 6 yrs?

It's very serious this company forged my signature on the loan agreement because I refused to sign it.
How can I explain this on my credit report please?0 -
Are you sure you're not telling porkies?
If you had a loan you would have also had the money transferred to you.
What does the debt from 2010 show exactly - what's the status, amount owed, payment history etc?0 -
Hi,
Do you regularly check your credit files with the three main CRAs, to check for fraudulent activity and accuracy?I work within the voluntary sector, supporting vulnerable people to rebuild their lives.

I never received the money I'm 100% certain
I asked to see the loan agreement that they said I signed and it's not my signiture0 -

The 2010 debt was a disagreement that was sorted way back then but it still shows as not settled
I thought even if it's not settled it's wiped after six years?0 -

Yes I did this and they sent me a signed loan agreement with a fraudulent forged signiture that doesn't look anything like mine
What's the next step for me?0 -

I'm confused by your posts. Do you, or do you not agree that you have a debt from 2010 (whether or not there was some kind of disagreement)? In one post, it seems that you acknowledge the debt, but with some kind of disagreement. In the next post, you say you have been a victim of fraud. Which one is it? Or is there more than one debt?I work within the voluntary sector, supporting vulnerable people to rebuild their lives.

It's two separate issues, the fraudulent debt claim was recent, they forged my signiture. That was this year.
The only other negative thing on my report was way back in 2010, my question is how is something over six years old still showing?0 -
If you believe fraud has taken place contact the Police.
The 2010 debt - what is the date of default?0
