EBICO Zero Variable Tariff To Be Withdrawn

Just tried to fix my tariff ahead of the standing charge introduction and no joy. The site won't allow it now!
Will now have to consider moxing from Ebico.
Any good alternatives out there?0 -
Thanks wavelets, I did get that email but I didn't read all of it. I logged on and sent my meter readings in, but didn't check my messages at the time. Rather lax of me I know. I think I'm going to have to fix on no standing charge for a year, but I don't want to go direct debit. Not sure if I can stay with the quarterly bills.

I read further up this thread that it can be done by phone, so I'm going to try that tomorrow.

The announcement says "We have made this opt-in process easy and straight-forward and customers can switch with a click of a button through their online account ...". Shortly after starting this thread I tried to do so. The appropriate option was there but unlike in the announcement it said that the new tariff had a £30 per fuel early exit charge. I emailed Customer Services pointing this out. I have heard nothing back but now when I login no options are offered. It looks like I will have to make the switch by phone.
My online options were absent over the weekend. They are now back still with the £30 early exit charge.0 -

Just found the option to fix - via mobile - there is no exit fee on Green V2 fixed at 21p per unit.
Can't figure out if I am better off on a 17p unit/17p standing charge or 21p until and no standing charge (fixed)?
I am a very low user - no more that 1100 units per year.0 -
I've just been on to the Ebico site, and switched to Zero Green Fixed for one year, (it worked), staying with a Quarterly paper bill. I had the option of going to direct debit but will avoid that for the time being, I hate direct debits full stop.

then i'm given a list of 6 tariffs to choose from (in descending order of savings)...- Ebico Prime 12 Fixed v2 (Fixed Tariff)
- Ebico Evergreen 12 Fixed v2 (Fixed Tariff)
- Ebico Zero Green Fixed v2 (Fixed Tariff)
- Ebico Standard (Variable Tariff)
- Ebico Evergreen (Variable Tariff)
- Ebico Prime Fixed 18 v2 (Fixed Tariff)
hope this helps.0 -

Just looking at my Ebico page on the other computer, my new tariff starts today. Gas 6.2467 p/kWh. Electricity 21.1168 p/kWh. No standing charge, no exit fee.
