The 5 minutes is what caught my eye.

Find sign, climb ladder, get magnifying glass out, read, comprehend, decide no thanks & leave
Private Parking Tickets - Make sure you put your Subject Access Request in after 25th May 2018 - It's free & ask for everything, don't forget the DVLA :D

But is there any value in doing nothing? And seeing if they just let it go? Rather than complaining to the BPA and potentially then drawing their attention back to me when in actual fact they weee just going to let it go?

Maybe. Who knows? Doing nothing is obviously easier.

Ahh... if you know there were going to let it go, then of course prodding them may not get the desired result.

The converse is equally possible... i.e. the BPA tells them off and they cancel rather than trying to justify their behaviour.

Your choice. My crystal ball is not giving me a clear answer.

You will know the answer to that in 6 years. That's how long they have to take you to court.

It's your call. Do something or do nothing. Personally I would rather have it cancelled now than possibly fighting a court case in 3 or 4 years.

We seem to be getting more and more impossible questions requiring authoritative, yet easy to understand answers, providing simple, no hassle solutions.

    Oh were it so.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
