 I went into a HX car park in Wigan in a kia sportage we had a new roof box on not even a week and I forgot I had it on the car. So when we entered the car park it crunched under the barrier. IT ended up breaking so my Mrs went to a cafe to get change for the car parking. I imputed the car reg but only the first two letters RV but thought i put all the reg in but my head was probably thinking about the roof box at the time. And we had to sign at the solicitors for our mortgage. We was only 25mins max and we overpaid aswel. The car park owners have stated to us we have paid for parking but broke the terms of contract by not fully putting the car reg. The car park is under icp and I've tried getting it cancelled by a independent on the appeal but they stated I've broke the terms and conditions of the car park as it was clearly signed. I've now received the final letter and they want £125. I clearly think it's unfair as they know we've paid and displayed and there was only two cars in the car park aswel so its not as if the car park was full.
